Can reglazing tubs and showers be a DIY project?
No. While there are kits available that would allow you to reglaze your bathtub yourself, it is not recommended. The process of bathtub refinishing (reglazing) consists of using very strong chemicals and materials, and the application process is best done by someone experienced. In addition, the bathtub reglazing kits that are available at your local home improvement store, do not include the same quality materials that a professional would use.
