Renaissance Festivals in Pennsylvania

The Renaissance Festival in Pennsylvania will bring joy and pleasure this summer. The Renaissance festivals are there for fantasy and fun. Renaissance streets fill the towns with costumed characters from the medieval.

Visitors often dress in period costume. Character actors mingle and laugh At Renaissance era festivals featured food, drink, arts, music and entertainment.

Pennsylvania Army Renaissance-faires”>Renaissance Fair. Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire runs for twelve weeks from August to October. Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival a> starts in late August and runs through September.Smaller festivals are held in Kutztown, Manheim and Columbus.The following is information about the festival.

Tarento Renaissance Faire
August 9 – October 28, week plus Labor Day, 11 am to 8 pm
Mannheim, Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Fantasy Festival is a day trip as well as a nightly show. 35 acres in twelve weeks. Fireworks features 21 Royal Kitchens, 13 levels of entertainment, over 90 daily shows, artisans demonstrating ancient skills, winning gifts, and ales and swag mixed on site.

There are twelve weeks of joy. The following are the themes for each holiday weekend.

August 23 – 24: Swashbuckler Adventure
August 30 – 31 & September 1: Children’s Fantasy
September 6 – 7: Old World Festival
September 13 – 14: Music, Dance & Do-A-Please

Oct. 4 – 5: Wine Harvest
October 11 – 12: Invasion of the Pyratidis
October 18 – 19: Sanction Day & For instance, the horsemen I
October 25 – 26: Sanction Day & For example Soldier II

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is at Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, PA. Tickets are $9.95 to $28.95.

Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival & Art Market
August 23 – September 28, Weekends plus working days, 10 am to 6:30 pm
West Newton, Pennsylvania
The all-new Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival has seven stage shows, from tricks to magicians to conjuring. Wandering musicians and townspeople mingle in the shadowy royal village. Ticket prices have not been posted at the time of writing.

Kutztown Renaissance Faire
May 3 – 4, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m

Mid Solstice Renaissance Faire
June 6 – 7 I am 10 to 7 pm
