spa treatments I’ve never had a hangover before, and it doesn’t make much difference. Then I heard about the Ice Cream Pedicure in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Ballantyne Resort Spa, and had to try it.
Marilyn Flanders, who has been doing these pedicures for four years, gave me a 50-minute spa treatment and made me feel really comfortable throughout the process, which she recommends people get once a month. She told me that it is not uncommon for people to come to her for such spa treatments, proclaiming that this medicine helps keep their feet in good shape and beautiful.
The spa had a way of playing music to help guests relax. I chose to have my delicate feet in chocolate, although I could have chosen two other flavors of kiwi strawberry (top choice) and pomegranate. The flavor selections change twice a year. Chocolate ice cream flavor will be used throughout the process.
My spa treatment began immediately after I took off my shoes and socks, in a state of the art, top of the line pedicure chair (which gives a massage if you want) not to use Fistulas for the whirlpool of the water of the river. For about ten minutes, my feet were soaked in water with a fizz ball scoop, which looked like a scoop of ice (pictured). The water soon turned into a malt-like color and had a mild chocolate smell, although it is not real ice cream . It felt a little warm at first, but soon became warm, and I could feel the constant water splashing on my feet as they soaked in this spa treatment in Charlotte, North Carolina.
After soaking my feet, Marilyn began to do a pedicure on my feet, which included filing the nails and pushing back my cuticles. She has a soft touch, although it felt strange to the bottoms of the feet and pediphile feet (a treatment for the space of the feet, not malicious), the sensation is also tickling.
It was at this time when my actual order of ice cream arrived! Three yummy scoops included chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla served in a fancy navy blue bowl. Guests at this spa in Charlotte, North Carolina also enjoy wine or mimosas, too.
Next, Marilyn uses a sherbet exfoliating chocolate scrub on her feet and lower legs (pictured). I have to tell you that the smell of this scrub was quite strong and nice, for me it felt like I poured chocolate, even though it said it smells like chocolate. This process used to remove dead skin from the feet and legs.
Warm towels are then placed on my feet to make them more relaxed. This gentle treatment process lasted about five minutes. And finally, Marilyn hung in some chocolate bar by my feet for about four minutes. The skin felt the lotion and absorbed into my skin as it exuded more of a chocolate scent. After the process was done, my feet felt really soft and the smell of chocolate sat on my feet. . After the treatment I felt relaxed, I wanted to go to bed and sleep! I’m guessing this was added from spa treatments, whether in Charlotte, North Carolina, or other places.
