I recently received a free sample of Bodycology hand and body in cherry scent. It came in a white paper bag type package with pink flowers and mostly black letters. It contained 7.25 mL (about an ounce) and was roughly in the shape of a lotion. I took off the top of the package, which represented the cap and was very easy to open (and it was a very cute package!), and squeezed a little to try.
The packaging claimed to have a new hydrating formula (isn’t lotion supposed to hydrate anymore?) and to “moisturize with a light scent.” This Bodycology hand lotion contains aloe vera, shea butter and vitamins A and E. On the back of the product packaging that He described it as “exotic” and gave it this way: “The dark red flowers are fragrant, to produce a happy and sparkling fragrance.”
When I put it in my hands I was expecting a nice cherry scent, but I actually thought it smelled more like a powdery scent. I could barely smell any cherry. I noticed that the pocket on my hands was well covered and my hands were easily lifted by a light or moderate amount. Leaves my hands feeling moist, but not oily.
The free sample provided me with enough polish to use at least 6-8 times, which I thought was a fair portion for a free product. There is also a coupon. This lotion is made in the USA and sold by Advanced Systems in Dallas, Inc. The perfect product is not tested on animals. The product contains many ingredients and is named so that it contains several colors, which I am not too fond of; I prefer all or most natural products whenever possible, NO animal testing.
Bodycology produces many types of hand soaps, lotions, mists, and other skin care products. They offer several scents and also feature gift sets, optional. The company reveals its mission to “make women feel good and create a sanctuary within their daily routine
Overall, I don’t think this product is bad for its moisturizing benefits, but because I wasn’t into the incredible smell and several other reasons, I didn’t want to buy this product itself. I prefer the wash that I continue to use. Scent is a big reason I continue to use certain products, such as lotions and shampoos, for example. I don’t mind the scent, but it’s not one I’d use often. If you prefer this scent, I recommend this product. They offer many other scents, so maybe if I can try a free sample of the other scents, I might change my mind.
