A few weeks ago, I had a very unpleasant experience of a dental filling that was placed on my wisdom tooth while I was eating. The directions are somewhat direct. After washing my mouth with water to loosen some of the particles, I thought I would take a small amount of the putty material from the bowl with a white spatula and roll it into a ball. Then I just press the putty with my fingers into the hole created by the lost filling, remove the excess material, then water my mouth again to “prepare” the temporary filling. Easy enough.
When I took the putty in my hands, it reminded me very much of the material “sediments” used in elementary schools. things to hang on the wall. When Dentemp O.S. material in my mouth, I was amazed at how easy it was to completely fill the hole in my tooth and remove the excessive material with just the pressure of my fingers.
