Opening on September 18th, “Jennifer’s Body” is the latest teen horror flick offering a seemingly endless supply from Hollywood. While most horror-style horror movies have some initial, morbid-curiosity appeal, but eventually fizzle, “Jennifer’s Body” is at least, on the surface, different.
First, “Jennifer’s Body” screenwriter and Executive Producer Diablo Cody, of “Juno” fame. a demonic thread, a thriller called a vampire, and draw into something more. With a wicked sense of humor and an ability to execute believable depictions of teen angst and emotion, Cody tries to take Jennifer’s body to a new level.
“Jennifer’s Body”, which is based on the old Holi song of the same title, is the story of a beautiful high school cheerleader (Megan Fox), Jennifer, who was living a happy life until … meeting the members of a rock band (who apparently truly satanic worship) leaves the besieged.
Recently married, Jennifer confides in her best friend (Amanda Seyfried) that she needs things to be different. What the poor person doesn’t know is that the ‘different’ version of Jennifer includes brutally killing local, lustful boys who have often wanted to prey on her in her life, and they still do, unaware of the danger. in.
Even when he needs to know what Jennifer is doing, he is powerless to stop her…yet. He was always in need of an imitator, feeling unworthy at the same time as lucky to be allowed to bask in Jennifer’s presence. And here, as in every good horror flick, Jennifer’s body is twisted…
Although aware of Jennifer’s antics (and Egenus really recognizes Jennifer for what she is), making this movie far more tongue-in-cheek than, say, some monsters in the closet or sticking to the house flick), Egens remains almost infatuated with his friend. In fact, there is a spectacular scene where Jennifer (Fox) and the poor man (Seyfried) share a kiss. As “hot” as that can be, especially in front of the majority of people aged 15-30, who will watch “Jennifer’s Body” only for the girl-on-girl fame and lesbian lip action, they will stay for what comes next… twiiiiiiist!
Jennifer can have any guy she wants; when it does, you can easily use them for fun and send them without mercy, like Black Widow or Praying Mantis. We shall say that he is far from needy and needy, and with fuller beauty. Stereotypically speaking. She wears needy glasses (of course), limps, has a bowl of blonde hair and is stupidly stupid. Compared to Jennifer’s sleek, dark hair, cut out of her face and sexy style, Egens is pretty rustic, and she knows it. everyone knows But then, a boy comes along… who prefers to be needy, so Jennifer simply ignores her, grabbing his attention.

But Jennifer’s chance is a killer match with the cornered, as she tells the story in a scene from Jennifer’s Body official trailer. When Jennifer begins to physically confront Needy, Needy says, “I thought you only killed boys?”, to which Jennifer replies in a lecherous-but-evil way, “Both of us go.”
What then? Needing to take Jennifer once and for all? What about the perverted young men who brought Jennifer to her fate in the first place; will justice serve them? Audiences will just have to wait and see how the details pan out when “Jennifer’s Body” hits theaters on September 18, 2009.
This teen-horror-flick black-comedy-esque production has the power to satisfy audiences looking for gore and laughs at the same time. I will not say that Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried same-sex smooch! In an interview with MTV, Fox says that kissing a female co-star felt “safe” and that she was “more comfortable kissing her than most guys I’ve worked with.” But Fox insisted that Seyfried was nowhere near comfortable with the kiss.
However, both ladies were able to stretch themselves out there for “Jennifer’s Body,” as many female actors have done before them. Actresses like Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron and others have all done similar same-sex love scenes for movies themselves.
A super cute woman leading the way with tight lips and walking through the bloodied streets of a quiet country town, there’s one reason that “Jennifer’s Body” will draw you in: the sound. Artists such as Panic At The Disco, Silversun Pickups and Dashboard Confessional fill the rough spots and make for a very appropriate ambiance moving throughout.
