Strength: Strong
taste: mild
Flavour: smooth kick
Price: About 60 cents above average, but because you need less coffee per cup, it works out about the same.
Nescafe food brands are available all over the world. Nescafe coffee too. I don’t know but Red Cup is usually only available in Europe and Asia and I’m not sure why? The instant coffee is the best I’ve ever tasted, so I’m surprised it’s not available everywhere.
I drank Nescafe Red Cup for the first time when one of my students gave me a container as a birthday present. I teaching English as a second language in Thailand and all my students know me I was obsessed with coffee, so I drank about 15 cups a day. Yes, you read that right, 15 cups a day! I shake the walls from morning till night, but at least my students think I’m alive.
When my student gave me a jar of Nescafe Red Cup, my first thought was “Well that’s going to save me a couple of dollars this week.” I drink a lot of coffee, but I’m not a coffee drinker at all, so I’ll drink almost anything that’s put in front of me. However, I notice when the coffee is better than the stuff I drink. The only reason I hadn’t had a Nescafe Red Cup before was that it was about 60 cents a pack more expensive than the kind I usually drink, and I wasn’t sure it was worth it.
I made myself a glass of the new red cup as soon as I got back to the staff room. I knew the moment I brought a cup to my lips from what I usually drink. The coffee is a little heavier and darker, with a sharper aroma. I realized right away when I opened the package, from the color alone, that I needed a little less in my cup than normal. But when I brought it to my lips and tasted the first taste – yum, I was sold. The flavor of Nescafe Red Cup is much milder than regular, cheaper coffee. Not a bitter aftertaste, not a slight aftertaste. It glides smoothly, it sits there really nicely. Strong but mild, it’s just about the perfect coffee.
When I got home that night, I made myself another cup, this time adding a glass of milk of my choice and sugar, thus making my very own latte. It also holds up well in this incarnation, and has given me a smooth ride.
In the last few days I have made a delicious brewed coffee with it, mixed a light iced coffee and also had a quick shot of whipped coffee sauce and cream on top of the ice. A treaty was issued to all.
Nescafe Red Cup is available in single serving packs, 100 grams, 200 grams and 400 grams soft packs and barrels. Also available in Nescafe Red Cup 3-1 (coffee, sugar and dried milk all in one sachet). It’s about 60 cents more per package than what I usually spend, but, in my opinion, it’s worth the extra. money Also, for strength, I found that I actually used less coffee per cup, so the difference in price was negligible.
When I first changed my drink to a regular Nescafe red cup, I find if I drink something else that I want my red cup in no time.
Finally, for an incredibly tasty Nescafe Cup Red Chocolate Frappe, try this:
Put 2 teaspoons of Nescafe Red Cup in the blender, and 6 ice cubes, 1 cup of cold milk, 3 teaspoons of sugar and 3 teaspoons of drinking chocolate powder (you can also substitute chocolate milk for cold milk and chocolate powder if you want). Turn into a blender for 1 minute, pour into an iced glass, and add some chocolate sprinkles. A taste out of this world.
