It turned out to be a very common route in this scenario. The world has become so small that we can reach from one end to another in a few hours. In international-travel they have become so common that you will find airports as crowded as railway stations in India. It was convenient for us to travel by air from India to here in the USA. I immigration visa with my wife. I am going to present a brief review of British air routes, air lines flying from India.
British Airways is the best known name among all airlines. This airline has been operating for so many years since last, but we have not heard of any major inconvenience happening to any of its aircrafts. The time of departure from India and arrival at BWI airport were also convenient for us. Some of the consequences were that of the airline itself. A one-way ticket from Vadodara to Baltimore was also found to be a reasonable Rs. 31000 per ticket inclusive of all taxes for economy class. We were allowed to carry two pieces of luggage unaccompanied, a maximum of 70 pounds each. This salary is 50 lbs higher compared to other airlines allowed.
We initially had to take an Indian Airlines flight to Vadodara in Gujarat to reach Mumbai from where we boarded an international flight. He boarded from Vadodara and we reached Mumbai around 10pm in the afternoon. Our onward international flight was at 1am the next morning. We had to get our luggage at the Mumbai domestic terminal and take a shuttle service to get to our terminal at the international airport. All of this went well and the airport staff helped load our luggage onto the shuttle bus. There is no charge from us for this waiting by shuttle bus ride.
We reached our international terminals and were reported to British Airways. When the wheel-chair was attached to the passenger’s chair, he was immediately transferred to the wheel chair released by the attendant. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was very helpful throughout. We went through the security check which was very tiring. Our hands were very pressed to open our purses. Our flight was on time and the plane boarded exactly 45 minutes before time.
We were given seats in the front upon request and quite comfortably. Each seat had an independent TV with all controls and earphones supplied free of charge. A safety booklet and a British newspaper are kept in each seat. Fruit juice was served just before the departure of the flight. Safety demonstrations etc. they were also good and not too long.
The sailors in the air were also well-dressed and very attentive to the art of craft. The requirements of both passengers were accompanied by courtesy. We took off from Mumbai at the time. Dinner was served as soon as we were in the air. We ordered Asian vegetarian meals We enjoyed the variety of Asian food and served food. The food was also tasted great and served with smoked pandi. Alcoholic beverages are provided to all passengers on a loaded basis. In-flight entertainment was also good with a total of 12 channels operating. A couple of channels were showing Indian programs which they liked a lot. breakfast is served I’m about 7 and we took a flight change in London. We had about two hours of this flight change and had to go to another terminal.
This was a really long walk and it was really better that I had booked a wheelchair for my wife as I would not have been able to walk this far at Heathrow airport. We were already busy with our boarding expeditions on our way to our trip in the USA, only to Mumbai. However, the ritual of security is again revealed. We boarded the flight and left Baltimore on time. Asian vegetarian dinners were again served at our request and they were very good. The in-show flights were again good but Indian programs were now shown on only one channel. This was good as that channel was playing popular Hindi movies.
All necessary forms were provided to all passengers to check in with immigration and customs in the USA. The crowd was giving good guidance to the passengers who could not fill in the said forms. The time finally arrived and he landed in Baltimore at 3:30 p.m. It was a very light port and without any obscenity. We turned into Baltimore and completed all immigration and customs formalities. By the time we finished, our packages were also waiting in safe and intact condition.
Our flight is over, and our pleasant and memorable experience is also over. We really enjoyed the British Airways flight, and we have no hesitation in recommending it to all our friends and relatives.
