My thoughts
Building lint in my dryers has always been a concern of mine. I can often see the linen hanging down inside the dryer, but cannot remove it. After my husband bought this, I read this article saying, don’t put anything down your dryer vents, because that only tightens the cloth and causes more fire hazards.
Well, shortly after reading that my home daycare was inspected by the fire marshal, I asked him specifically about it. . He told me that the items I had in this kit would be very useful to remove the excess cloth from the vents and use them regularly. He was concerned about doing nothing more harm than good.
The 10 foot longduct brush is round and has extra wide bristles at the end that will help break up and build lint in the duct vent. The handle is flexible to fit into curved duct areas.
The longlinen brush vent band is narrow and widens to the handle. It’s also flexible enough to reach deep into the dryer vent, so you can remove all the towels you just can’t reach. This brush also works great for removing dirt and dust from under appliances such as washers, dryers, ovens and refrigerators.
A vacuum hose is a great addition to this kit. The boot is a flat boot, which slides more easily in the drier wind and when attached to the vacuum, it pulls a surprising (and shapeless) amount of linen. It has a universal design that does not attach to any empty flag.
