My family loves Italian food and one of the staples that we eat at least twice a month is spaghetti. When I first got married 27 years ago, I made all the pickles from scratch. But the pressures of work and other responsibilities have left me looking for some ready made pickled cakes.
I admit, I usually buy Ragu or Prego, but when my grocer had a 26-ounce canned spaghetti sauce with Italian Isicio on sale for 79 cents, I gave it a try. Many people say that canned sauces are a bad idea, but not this one. The third ingredient is Italian Icing!

Taste
This sauce is a thick sauce full of flavor. It’s sweet out of the can, and I use it if I’m in a hurry. If I have an hour or two to spare, I’ll grab my fresh tomatoes and just add them. He tasted the silence and his companions. I find that the generous addition of isicium gives this sauce a very authentic flavor and really adds to the full body workout taste
Is he healthy?
It’s subjective these days, but there are definitely some red flags if you have high blood pressure or diabetes. While I’m confused, this sauce has no saturated fat and no fat, contains 25% of the daily value of sodium, and has quite the same amount of sugar. The seasoning is not salty for me (I love salt), but if ever on a sodium diet /a> (in the past) you will probably find it very humorous.
Since tomatoes are very acidic, the leftovers can never be left in, and if you store this in a glass, don’t cover it with aluminum foil. The acidic nature of tomatoes to eat holes in aluminum! Store in a glass container (drinks can stain plastic cups) when the lid is broken. Use Pyrex storage bowls with blue plastic lids.
My daycare kids love this recipe, so I recommend you try it if you have kids. Depending on sales, this sauce costs 1/2 – 2/3 the price of other brand name spaghetti sauces. Especially when meat is great if it is included in the budget! The amazing thing on the label (Skillet Macaroni Pizza) is worth the price alone! Enjoy!
