Although we have a lot of Spaghetti in this house, we almost never have French bread to go with it. I decided to cure this the other day and take French bread. In the spirit of health, the organic bread I got was the Raw Country French Bakery Organic Bread. I had previously tried some of the sandwiches that this company had made, so I was eager to see what their French bread tasted like.
I didn’t want the bread to go bad before I got a chance to throw it in the freezer after I brought it home. The company recommends that you do not put the bread in the fridge to prevent it from drying out. I certainly didn’t want this to happen considering that a loaf of French Country Bakery Raw Organic Bread was four dollars and seventy-nine cents. When the time comes to use the bread, I hesitate to cook it. Thankfully there were suggestions in the bag on how to cook it, which was about ten minutes in the oven at three hundred and seventy-five degrees, which I did exactly and it didn’t dry out a bit. cooking time I was very happy about this and the fact that it took so little time to heat up. The bread filled two sheets of pastry so that there was plenty of bread to go around. Of the pieces I buttered, I completely left some out, and I thought they both tasted amazing. When I ate the French bread, I couldn’t get enough of it because of the difference between this brand and other French breads that I have tasted before. It had tasted great, but there was a certain absence, and then it hit me what it was, the bread had no taste. I couldn’t be happier with the taste, but I have to admit that it doesn’t taste as good as my homemade bread.
I wasn’t really sure what made French bread, but I thought it had something to do with things. Raw French Bread Organic Bread ingredients are wheat flour, water, organic whole rye, sea salt, cultured wheat flour, organic wheat gluten, organic sulfur oil and/or oleicum, organic barley malt, yeast, organic oat flour, vinegar, ascorbic acid and natural enzymes. To our surprise, the ingredients of the sandwich breads from this company were very similar. I am quite impressed. The nutrition facts were also similar to other breads. In one slice of this French bread you get 100 calories and five of them, which is about half to a third of what the sandwiches give you, are fat. In every serving or slice there were two hundred and ten milligrams of sodium and twenty grams of carbohydrates. Bread offers only one gram of sugars and less than one gram of fiber per serving, but offers four grams of protein per slice. The rest of the nutrients you get from this bread are thiamin, niacin, folate, riboflavin and iron, all of which give you two percent of your daily requirement. Both the nutrition facts and the ingredients were very pleasing.
The cost, as I have said above, is four dollars and seventy-nine cents per cake. That’s why I don’t get to make spaghetti very often, that’s for sure, but I think I’ll do something like that once in a while, like every week or once a month. They say it is healthy. I would definitely recommend this bread to anyone who likes french bread or organic bread. Rudi’s Organic Bakery Country French Bread tastes great, has amazing nutritional facts and ingredients, and I’m really glad I tried it and I know I’ll be getting it again.
