Kimchi is a nutritious Korean dish that Koreans enjoy, and it is also gaining recognition in the West. Kimchi is an acquired taste for many people who are not used to Korean cuisine. It may contain fermented cabbage, radish and other main ingredients to compose this dish.
After sampling some homemade kimchi recently, my interest was piqued and I wanted to have some more kimchi at a later date. I came across King’s Spicy Kimchi for $3.68 for a 427g (15oz) jar.
Spicy King Kimchi is naturally low in calories and carbohydrates. The good news is that it contains no artificial preservatives or MGS, which makes this a healthy option for those who are trying to watch what they eat and lead a healthier lifestyle . I wanted to learn more about the health benefits of Kimchi and try this brand for myself. But have I ever tasted as tasty as homemade kimchi?
Natural Yeast
When I first opened the jar of King Spicy Kimchi, it immediately began to boil and overflow. I put it in the sink so it wouldn’t spill on turning tops. This is a very normal chemical reaction due to fermentation.

Taste
As soon as I bit into my first bite of Spice King Kimchi I felt the mixture of flavors and textures was overwhelming. The nappa cabbage was crunchy and the taste of hot pepper was quite strong. It took a few more bites to decide whether I liked the spicy flavor of King Kimchi or not. I have to admit that it doesn’t taste as good as the homemade variety I’ve tried. I also found it spicy to my taste. I had accidentally bought the spiced version, which I would return to attacking my taste buds.
