About a year ago, a grocery store opened near us, and I was shocked to find all the foods I can’t find at Fred Meyer and the prices are so reasonable!
Last week I had my Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crash on the list because they were on sale for $1.79 for each 6 ounce bag (I’m claiming Series Rules here, since the 6 ounce size is not in the database).
My daughter used to love copper chelysmos crackers when she was little, but I didn’t know these Pepperidge-farms came in so many flavors and varieties ! I had two coupons for any Pepperidge Farms products, one was $1 off and one was 50 cents off, making this a great buy. I bought a bag of Green Goldfish Cheddar and a bag of Goldfish Baked Pretzels.
Product Description
Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Pretzels look very similar to the original Goldfish Cheese Cracker. Eyewear wears sunglasses on the front of the bag, and the bag is colored with a purple accent instead of orange. The size of the pretzel in the picture of the bag is about the same as the actual size of these little bites. In comparing the pretzel version to the cheese version, the pretzels seem to have much less salt (although this is not the case), and the emblems are slightly larger and slightly inflated.
These are cooked treats, with no artificial cosmetics, which are called “Naturals”. P. contain no bad fats. These snacks come in a foil enclosure that helps keep fresh.
A serving size of Pepperidge Firm Goldfish Pretzels is a generous 43 ounces. (For comparison, a serving of garden cheddar is 55 pieces). One serving of pretzels contains 130 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, only 0.5 grams of saturated fat, zero grams of cholesterol, 430 mg of sodium (the cottage cheese version has 290 mg of sodium), 24 grams of carbohydrates, less than one. P.* of sugar and fiber, sometimes P.*III. It also gives 8% of iron logs.
Taste
I love preserves, I always have, and these are great tasting! When I look at what I eat these days, I find it great to put a serving size in a baggie, and that way I can keep track of my calories during the day. The serving size is about half a cup of tea, so it’s not as big as I thought it would be. 43 pieces sounds like more than 1/2 cup makes, ch?
Pepperidge Firm Goldfish Pretzels look like pretzels, are medium brown and are with large types of salt. A lot of my pieces had white markings on the fish where the salt used to be, but it fell off and sat at the bottom of the bag. That’s why I consider these to have much less sodium than on the nutrition facts label.
I love crunchy foods, and these Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Pretzels really satisfy my craving for a crunchy snack, but they’re a bit addictive (so you need to measure, or I’ll eat the whole bag in one sitting).
From designer bag clear I put this food for babies. In the back of the bag he has four fish, all with names. The name of the pretzel fish is Gilbert. There is an area to draw a picture on the back of the bag, and it says “draw something that makes you feel good”. There is a link to two websites in the package. One for kids who says you can have fun and games to visit individually, and one for parents.
To conclude, these are the great snack-foods that I enjoy the most. Lots of flavor and crunch in every hippie.
