Review Time: The Illusionist Locket

The Illusionist Locket was an original design created by wood artist Jim Anderson. For this project, he found his inspiration in the exchange vessel that is in the movie “The Illusionist”. Although the scene was dropped in a short film, it still inspired many to try their hand at image making. However, the scene is somewhat misleading, since two different boxes were used in the film to achieve the transformation of the vessel. This did not deter Jim Anderson, who after watching the film set out to create a small illusionist gift for his wife. He later made a number of prototypes that Hollywood did not want to create a functional illusionistic pod that held not one but two images. The line of Illusionist Lockets in many improvements that Hollywood could not dream of, showing the quality and style of its design.

Locket Components: Each Illusionist Locket is handcrafted from high quality materials and built to withstand the tests of time. They are custom made to ensure quality. Due to the time and skill involved in making the Illusionist’s Locket, he broke it down in order of its parts.

Butterfly Transforming: The butterfly design of this container transforms into a tulip when the container is twisted from an oval shape into a heart (like the feature container in the movie). These symbols were chosen not only for beauty, but also for meaning. The butterfly is a symbol of true beauty, faith, resurrection and transition. In Christianity it is also a symbol of rebirth. Tulips are symbolic of perfect love. And white tulips represent heaven, newness and purity. moldings that shape the designs sit into the wood of the cabinet, creating a design that won’t break on its own. time Each piece of jewelry is custom made and available in white acrylic, sterling silver, and solid 14k gold.

Wood Discussion: The vessel featured in this review is made from cocobolo, an exotic wood imported from South America. Cocobolo is a heavy, dense wood that is very durable. The appearance of fat and beautiful crops. As a craftsman, Jim Anderson has a deep passion for the beauty and versatility that this wood offers. Each piece of wood chosen to create the Illusionist Locket is hand-picked to create beauty and quality. His experience in lanterns leads him on the hunt for the most beautiful woods. It ensures that the beauty of the wood will be preserved for many years with wooden containers when a plastic polymer is injected to stabilize the wood. The polymer gives the wood a smooth finish, that is very similar to glass and makes the wood water resistant (personally I find these aspects very impressive). Illusionist Lockets are available in a variety of woods, as well as colorful acrylic. The capsules are oval in size, thin and thin. The cabinet featured in this review is a slim style, height: 1.4″ 35.5 mm Width: 0.7″ 17.8 mm Thickness: 0.45″ 11.4 mm >Picture Diameter: 0.36″ 9.1 mm

Bails: The bail of this vessel (the loop that allows the vessel to hang from the necklace) is very hard and durable. The beads used in the illusionist vases are high quality with a thickness that will allow the pendant to last for many years without needing to be repaired. Both bails are custom made from sterling silver, 14kt yellow gold or 14kt white gold. The price largely depends on what the vessel is made of. The featured cabinet in this review sells for $220 USD for sterling silver and is a popular choice. Items that feature all gold are around $360 USD. Given the quality and uniqueness of the illusionist vases, they are worth the price. Bail Diameter: 0.16 inches (4 mm)

Necklaces: On his website, Jim Anderson offers a variety of leather necklaces to wear with your card. The necklace featured in this review is made from light brown leather and features silver lobster claws. Necklaces range in price depending on the type of clasp you want starting at $10 USD for sterling silver and $25 for solid 14k gold.

What’s included? Each container includes a beautiful gift box, picture frame, double-sided tape, instructions and certificate of authenticity. All you need to do is add your photos to the included container.

Gift Box: The feature chest in this review comes in a beautiful gift box. This box is very useful for storing dishes when I am not carrying them. I don’t usually review a box that comes with jewelry, but this box is not your usual gift box.

Punch:
The punch is heavy and durable when enclosed in a punch box. It allows you to easily cut the images to the exact size so that you can fit them perfectly into the container.

Instructions:
step by step instructions are presented in the form of following and understanding. Adding images to a container is a simple task.
Certificate of authenticity: Each vessel is a work of art and is numbered with a certificate of authenticity.

How It Works: Opening a container of illusionists is an almost magical experience, as the components easily drag themselves into the desired locations. You may be asking yourself “How is this possible?”. Although the transformation of the vessel seems mysterious, its action is due to a very complex and well-constructed system. Ten minutes, but the magnetic force repels or attracts each other allowing the members of the vessels to flip in the desired locations. The vessel also has five positioning balls that keep the pieces of the vessel precisely in place. When the container is twisted, the parts move into different configurations smoothly and without catching (no matter how many times the container is opened). The internal frames of the picture are surrounded by a decorated hand-forged bronze vessel. In addition to the decorative purpose of the tables, they also provide a housing for rotation, which can be transformed into a privet vessel.

My personal opinion:
Personally, I feel that Illusionist Lockets are truly unique, as I have never seen a locket that captures my attention the way this locket has (I can’t hold and twist a locket, it’s very addictive!). The workmanship, craftsmanship and heirloom quality of the vessel are exceptional. Every vessel that pertains to the smallest matter is well arranged, allowing the vessel to perform its task efficiently. Illusionist Lockets are a wonderful way to lock your loved ones and preserve their memory for generations. They are also wonderful pieces of wearable art, as each one is unique.
