When you want to sound like Peter Frampton, the Rocktron Banshee talkbox will let you feel like Frampton does. It has features that other talkboxes just don’t have. But more importantly, it will start talking through your guitar’s signal from the box. Also, Rocktron makes this movie look like a monster. Outputs and sounds like a true talkbox. It costs a little more than $100, but considering the other choices you have, it blows them all out of the water.
How does it work?
Don’t know how the speaker works? What am I talking to you? You are clearly stupid. Nah, I’m just playing with you. The speaker works when the preamp in the box itself receives your guitar signal and boosts the sound. Then that sound escapes through the hole that your pipe covers. The sound then travels through the tube and into your mouth. The sound bounces around your head and comes back out of your mouth. Then decide what you want the sound to sound like through your mouth or words, or whatever shapes you want. People think that musicians with storytelling use the vocal act chords to talk with guitar. It is a common misconception that people believe.
Pros
This monster is completely durable. I used something with a hammer, I dropped it a few times, but it still holds and nothing ever happened. It also has its own preamp. This preamp means you won’t have to play the movie to an external speaker so you can hear yourself talking right through the guitar. While the newer version of this Rocktron Banshee discussion has more silly balls, this one won’t confuse you at all. This makes him talkative.
Cons
I don’t have many negatives about the Rocktron Banshee, but there are a few quirks. As you can probably imagine, you’ll have a tube mouth all disgusting and sputum. Therefore, either after a period or several uses, you will be forced to clean very carefully. It’s not hard to clean, but it’s still a pain to do. Otherwise, you will have a smelly pipe that carries bacteria from your mouth. If those bacteria multiply and you decide to stick it in your mouth, all I can say is fun. Although cleaning can be a pain at times, nothing should hinder your enjoyment of this fun craft.
Experience
I agree with this Rocktron Banshee talkbox and I absolutely loved it. I played with it with my band, and it can be heard in the voice of drums, bass and vocals. Of course, if you flash, you’ll easily beat your hand if that happens. The tone I get from this story is impeccable. It sounds completely professional and feels like it too. Tube, if you get too crazy or don’t have a mic stand to turn it around, to pop out of the speaker from one or both of these, you’ll look stupid and pity Mr. you So maybe if you add some good o’ duct tape mix and tape that drinker in the box, it’ll stay there and be happy you will be and so Mr. T. will finally escape. I’m not sure about this yet, but it’s not a bad thing. It looks horrible to some. Anyway, if this Rocktron Banshee discussion ever gets stolen, I’ll replace it as soon as I can. It’s for sure, and I’ll get you through any speech needs you could ever have.
