I went through horrible pain for several months until I finally went to the emergency room for a serious ear infection. The doctor gave me a prescription for ear drops and sent me home. I spent several weeks and the ear infection was not getting better. Finally, I thought maybe it wasn’t my ear, it was my teeth. I went to the dentist, and here’s the job: six cavities filled, two root canals and a possible root fracture.
I could not see that I was pregnant for the past 10 months and had no x-rays. The only x-ray that can detect the need for a root canal is done only once every five years. Generally, a root canal can be fixed with a cavity if it is in the early stages. The root that was supposed to have made me fill my wisdom tooth. I thought I had tooth all at once, but I had no problems or pain and it’s been about one year since whereupon the question arose.
My other tooth badly needed a root canal. They appointed me after one month. After we are already dealing with this pain that I thought was an ear infection deal with this pain any longer and told them to come to me immediately. The pain was worse than child birth. As soon as they gave me the shot I felt momentary. I have never felt pain after a root canal. If the root is done correctly, you will usually have a sensation for cold foods, because there is no nerve left. They simply take a kind of brush and clean all the nerves from the tooth. You might have two typical nerves, or in my case, there might be a hidden third nerve that you need to find.
They will then place a wire in a clip to hold the crown, which is a fake tooth that will fit over your stub that you have left over from your tooth. If there is nothing left in your tooth, you will need a bridge that is held in place by the wire on the tooth from the other tooth. After my root canal was done, they gave me a temporary filling that had to drain everything so that it wouldn’t be infected or in pain anymore. After about another week my tooth hurt even worse and I went back to the dentist to find out that my full molar was broken and lodged inside my gums.
After changing dentist services and having the correct crown on the way, I had no more problems. I spent roughly $2,000 having a tooth fixed to get a credit card. Unfortunately, it was a pain. If you think you have an infection ear and it usually goes away after prescription drops, you will have to have your teeth sedated for a possible root canal procedure .
