Plato’s Room has cool shows, rockin’ music and trendsetting employees. They sell brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Donna Karen, Coach and Burberry.
And as my oldest son is a writer his favorite stores are A&F; and the American Eagle found Plato’s great room for us. Now my son is not in the habit of putting me in the poor house.
On that first trip to Plato’s I was surprised when we came home for less than $90 (the equivalent of 2 pairs of jeans at American Men’s). In fact, we brought home two pairs of jeans, six shirts, Jan’s playbook and an Abercrombie Hoodie. That can’t be beat in my book.
What path and gem? It was one of a Burberrypolo shirt. Yeah, you read that right. So I Googled it when we got home and it was $160 new, I couldn’t believe I only paid $12 and my son was secretly happy.
Since then we have been back several times and I introduced my 18 year old daughter to him as well. They took their friends with them and now it’s cool to see how little they wear. Go figure.
