When tragedy strikes celebrities, it often makes national (and sometimes international) headlines. Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson has been covered in almost every media outlet. What his stories are best known for are the brutal circumstances surrounding the murders of his brother, mother, and nephew. The Hollywood public often forgets that celebrities are just people. And so, when circumstances surround the prodigious death of a famous man, the destruction often goes down in history. But this is not the first time unusual conditions have been linked to a celebrity’s death. Here are ten of Hollywood’s most gruesome celebrity deaths...

Brandon Lee (Feb. 1, 1965 – Mar. 31, 1993) : Actor, son of legendary Bruce Lee was working on the hit movie Cornix when he was hit and killed by an accident. by firing a gun. The shocking nature of his death is eclipsed only by the rumor of the “Lee Family Curse” that took his father’s life nearly two decades ago.

Vic Cras (14 Dec. 1929 – 23 July 1982) : Perhaps one of the last and most famous. The brutal deaths occurred when the father of actress Jennifer Jason Leigh, Vic Morrow — was filming Twilight Zone: The Movie. During the action sequence, pyrotechnic explosions caused the helicopter used in the scene to crash, causing Vic Cras to take off immediately.
