Camp Santa Maria is currently hiring cabin counselors, outdoor educators, an aquatics coordinator, unit directors, and a fitness program director for the residential camp.
The best candidates for cabin counselors include individuals who can effectively communicate with campers, peers, and administrators, those who keep kids safe. /a>, and who can lead various activities in the camp. Camera consultants are paid $200 per week, and a camera and board are provided. Counselors work from August 20-June 13.
Unit managers are responsible for supervising cabin counselors and their kids. For this reason, all unit managers must have both staff and camp management experience. Unite directors also help plan schedules and programs. Unit directors are paid room and board as well as $500 per week.
