Potter Park “Zoocamp 2008”, Lansing, Michigan, When Potter Park brought his summer camp program for 2008 offered a new perspective. This year the program is designed to respond to the interaction of the fence with parents, to build a camp for teachers and kids. a program that will best serve the needs, interests and abilities of all participants.
“Zoocambi 2008” will perform in two sessions with the program in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Exercises will be provided in both sessions. But for the kids who are interested, there is also a full day program available where kids come to the morning session, bring lunch or money to buy lunch and stay until the afternoon session starts. Seven new study programs have been added and major sessions have been revised to give kids the best and most enjoyable zoo experience possible. For their younger children, there are sessions that allow them to investigate the habitat, eating habits, and perceptions of the animals’ senses.
Older kids can check out wildlife by continent and habitat using it as their school book. They will have to investigate different environmental settings and learn about animal threats.
