Barbecue sauce is a tasty condiment that I regularly utilize with many different foods. Recently, I have been using both Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce and Kraft Original Barbecue Sauce at home and I really like utilizing both sauces.

Consistency / Texture

Taste / Flavor

To my tastebuds, the Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce tastes a little sweeter and the Kraft sauce tastes a little bit saltier. Each of these sauces possesses a smoky flavor and the Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce offers hints of fruit flavor.

On a flavor scale of one through ten, I would assign the Kraft Original Barbecue Sauce a rating of 9 and the Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce a rating of 9.50.

Overall Rating
As with many food product comparison reviews, it is difficult to declare one of these products the best of the two. Both sauces are quite pleasant-tasting and they add a lot of great flavor to a wide variety of foods.

To be honest however, I think I prefer the flavor of the Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce a little more than that of the Kraft sauce. Give them both a try, maybe you’ll have a new favorite barbecue sauce.
