Can’t afford an expensive professional photo staff? Don’t waste your money on cheaper versions that sellers offer with a cloth and a silly drop box. You can take professional looking photos of your baby or toddler with a few simple and little practice. Parenting is something parents don’t miss out on simply because they can’t afford it. Time flies and little ones change so fast! The best way to get great photos is to take them where you and your child are most comfortable, which is most likely in your home or backyard. So you can snap shots when your munchkin is at his happiest. No worries about losing sleep or having a bad afternoon, or the added stress of getting all ready and rushing to meet the photographer. Grab your camera and start snapping away with these simple and easy photography tips!
1) Get close. Real close. People try to get pictures from a distance to get a full body or action shot of the baby. Try to get up close and focus on the face. Capturing the facial features up close allows the smallest structure of the eyes and mouth to be reproduced. . Parents say that this actually seems to capture the essence of a child’s innocence.
2) Proper lighting. The real key to a professional looking photo is proper lighting. A soft, oblique light source produces wonderful results. Morning or early evening light is perfect. The easiest way to get this light to work for you is to take pictures of adjacent windows. This portion or part of the face will highlight while shading the other part enhancing all the features of the face.
3) Get candid. Proposed and over-the-top photos look not only outdated but fake and cheesy (in my opinion). Nothing beats true feelings. A real smile, a frown, or even real tears can produce amazing results. Think out of the box and take shots from all angles. Try to take a photo directly above the child when they are looking up at you, or find them digging under it, or have someone hold your baby and take the boat from below. The sky can present a splendid backdrop. When the kids are in the game, they get up in their space and take some shots while the kids do what they do best. White shots are the most natural and beautiful. Take shots of your little ones splashing in a puddle or flower spikes. Converting one of these photos to sepia or black and white can look gorgeous in a series of large prints across your wall or even make personalized and artistic holiday cards.
4) Take a Happy Snap. Take millions of pictures. If you take a million, you’re going to get at least 3 amazing ones. The best photo opportunity lasts only a second to the best, so think ahead and have your camera ready at all times. As all parents well know, little ones almost never sit still. So taking snapshots continuously will ensure that you never miss that perfect moment. This brings me to the biggest number 5……
5) Invest in a goodDigital Camera. I just won old or disposable cameras. T produce something worth keeping. Money and frustration will be saved in the long run in the cinema or even many bad shots. A good digital camera can make great amateur photos. Modern cameras take all the guesswork out of it in many ways. No need to understand shutter-speed settings, f-stop, etc. Simply choose the type of photo you are trying to take (portrait, action, landscape, closeup, etc.) and the camera does the work for you. However, the two most important features are instant shooting and continuous shooting (usually the “action” mode. Instant shooting means that the photo is captured at the exact moment of the photo snap. This is important when dealing with wiggly little ones. Cheaper or larger cameras, if they are taken in motion, will subject blur .Continuous shooting means that as long as you press the button, pictures will be taken continuously, so it is almost impossible to mistake that your child is making a shaky expression. .Do your research and visit the shop around and search online for hire cameras or rent a camera if you can’t afford one.
