It doesn’t really take much for babies to start feeding finger foods once they start to accept solids. The parents must be helped the most, because for the first time in a month they can feed their children together. The baby can feed himself at least every meal when learns to eat finger foods. Sometimes even whole meal can be given baby, that is easy to self-feed. That’s not to say that he doesn’t need to be nursed, but he doesn’t need the hands-on help he received when he was only spoon-fed.
Once your baby has mastered the art of feeding finger food, it’s time to let him have it. cocl. Of course, this transition to finger foods is much harder, but no less important. After, the baby finally learns that it is inappropriate to eat certain fingers right? He can easily feed himself by handing the spoon while he stands, though.
One of the first rules when a baby learns to use a spoon is to not get upset when he makes a mess. He should not use the spoon until he knows what it is, but because you know what it is, you do not know how to use it. The baby should understand that he is putting the food on the spoon, and then putting the spoon in his mouth to take the food. It is hard to control at first. It could also be difficult to understand that the spoon needs to be held in a certain way in order to keep the food in it better. In the food falls snails and on the floor while learning. It will also end all over the face, and probably over the whole wall, if it stands near one. That’s good. He learns to do it. You should never punish yourself for learning this.
Start your baby with something that will be easy for him to eat from a spoon. It is important that you give him something that will stick to the spoon a little. Soup would not be good food unless you first use something to thicken it. One of the first food used for our baby was oatmeal. The ligula sticks enough that, even if it is turned over, some food remains on the spoon.
Another trick he learned is to take his time. Do not spoon him first if you rush. Maybe your child will take a long time to get all the food in his mouth. If he gets frustrated and throws the spoon, then you can offer him help. Don’t rush, though.
He should not have too much food at once. Babies often get frustrated and drop their trays when they learn this new skill. Often giving him a full bowl on an empty stomach and he will find a cranky baby while you go to get him something. another to eat, after throwing all his food on the floor. But if he only offered him for a time, it would seem even easier for him to complete the meal. Even if you still need to have a filling, it will seem like a big deal to you if you throw out a bowl with a spoon.
Praise your baby when he gets the spoon in his mouth, even if all the food falls off before he gets there. It’s important to know how to do it, even if it doesn’t work quite right. This will encourage him to study properly.
Do not force your child to use a spoon if he does not feel like it. You don’t want to be what he hates. If it still feels like a given or that dad needs to do it for himself sometimes, go ahead and do it. If my son is especially tired or cranky, he wants to be noticed and help us more often.
Remember this skill, just like any other time. Be prepared for disappointment and possible anger when things don’t go right. Eventually your child will get the hang of it. Before you know it, your little one will be feeding himself all the time.
