Telebrands Doggy Steps are steps that help your dog or any pet get up on the furniture. They are great for pets that have leg or hip problems. Doggy steps are a great idea for pets prone to hip and leg problems.
Telebrand Doggy Steps are much cheaper than their competition, but they are a still a great quality product. Telebrands web site has a special of 2 doggy steps for $19.99 plus shipping and handling. That is a great deal! Some doggy steps are priced at upwards of $150.00.
Value and Quality
Telebrand Doggy Steps are made out of a plastic frame with a washable tan faux sheep skin cover. Telebrand warns that the steps should not be used for pets over 70 pounds. If your pet weighs more than 70 pounds, Telebrands would not be a good doggy step for you. Otherwise I think they are a great product. Their plastic design makes them cheaper than wood step competitors. Though the steps are plastic, they are quite sturdy. Being that they have the 70 pound weight limit, you have to be careful not to step on them yourself.
Assembly
Telebrand Doggy Steps come unassembled. Assembly is quick and easy. No tools are needed. The included directions with diagrams are quite easy to follow. I was able to put the doggy steps together in less than five minutes. The hardest part was putting on the cover which has a tight fit. But the results are a nice looking step.
My dogs’ review
My dog started using them the same day. He really liked going up them but was a little more reluctant to go down them. Once he got the hang of them, he used them pretty much all the time. I think he gives his doggy steps a two thumbs (or paws) up.
Tip: Make sure there is plenty of room at the end of the steps. Some dogs tend to go fast down the steps and if their is a wall close by, they won’t like to go down them for fear of running into the wall.
Telebrand Doggy Steps come with a guide with suggestions on getting your dog to use their new steps.
Recommendations
Telebrand Doggy Steps come in a 3 step and a 4 step model. I strongly recommend the 4 step model. The 3 step model is pretty short. It would be short for some couches and much to short for beds. I find the 4 step model works perfectly with my couch and bed. www.doggysteps.com has the dimensions of the steps if you would like to measure and see which steps would be best for you. When I ordered my Telebrand Doggy Steps from www.doggysteps.com/, they charged me $34.99 plus shipping and handling for two of the 4 step model.
Targets’ web site sells the 3 step Telebrand Doggy Steps for $19.99 and the 4 step model for $29.99.
Ordering
www.doggysteps.com/
This website is much cheaper than Targets web site. You basically get two sets of steps for the price of one set of steps at Targets’ web site. But www.doggysteps.com is confusing to use. You are not given the option to order the 4 step model until after you order the 3 step model. After you enter your information, including your credit card information to order the 3 step model you must hit the complete order button. Then you are taken to the next page where you will be given the option to upgrade to the 4 step model. It is probably easier (although I have not tried it) to order from their phone number at 1-800-670-0377.

Telebrand Doggy Steps are more expensive through Targets’ web site, but the ordering process is clear and easy.
