After a rough season 3, the writers of Lost brought the goods back in Season 4. Lost once again became one of the best shows on television. But what is the best of the lost characters? Since we’re on a bit of a hiatus until the next new episode of Lost, I thought I’d list the best characters on Lost.
10th Best Character Lost: Mikhail Bakunin
You might know Mikhail better as “Patchy.” How can you not like Mikhail? He has a patch over one eye and has died like fifteen times already. It’s basically like a lost pirate.
9th Character Best Lost: Daniel Faraday
In season 4, we were introduced to a new group of cast members, the transporters. I like the whole group of them, but right now I’m going with Faraday as my favorite. He’s very shaky and nervous all the time, but he’s also a genius. It also seems to have a more interesting group scene, whatever it is.
8th Best Character Lost: Jin-Soo Kwon
In one episode, Sawyer portrays Jin as Chewie from Star Wars. It’s a pretty fitting name because Jin is almost always someone else’s sidekick, he’s a pretty solid guy and he speaks another language.
7th Character Best Lost: Sayid Jarrah
Normally I’d like someone like Sayid to twist people and twist people’s necks with their legs. But on the other hand, he really loved Shannon. Ick.
6th Character Best Lost: Hugo “Hurley” Reyes
Hurley is definitely the most likable character in Lost; He is one of the few characters who really like to be with friends (especially after he won the lottery.) But until the overall story of the lost Hurley does not seem like a huge player so much, maybe it will change as further into the story though.
5th Character Best Lost: Desmond Hume
If you want to lose a lot of fun, this is what I recommend. To print a picture of a demon. Then print a picture of Penny. Every time the Jack/Juliet or Kate/Sawyer relationships come up in an episode, Desmond’s face on Jack/Sawyer’s tape and Penny’s face on Juliet/Kate. Penny and Desmond is the real love story on Lost. He can see more of the future.
4th Character Best Lost: James “Sawyer” Ford
Now Sawyer doesn’t do much other than hang out at Camp Locke, but for most of the show Sawyer was the main player and his nicknames are one of the things that have been lost.
3rd Character Best Lost: Benjamin Linus
More and more everyday as Ben investigates is the cleverness of the things that are happening on the island. He gets bigger things because of this, and all the evil and creepiness that goes with it. But now it still falls a little short of the top spot because it was only in about half of the episodes.
2nd Character Best Lost: Jack Shephard
Well yes Jack is a little gullible and who knows what he sees in Kate or Julia but he is a “good guy” program, he must act those ways. Jack is always the lead cast and Matthew Fox is the star of the show. That is worth a lot to count. Jack’s only problem is his terrible flashbacks.
1st Best Morals Lost: John Locke
John Locke has to be the number one Lost character so far. Locke is weak and now mysteriously cannot walk but can hunt something in the forest. Lost has a more interesting past, its flashbacks are easily the best, and whatever connection it has to the islands means it will probably have an even more interesting future.
