Dr. Oz has his own television series! If you’re like thousands of Americans, you will be excited about this. I know I am! For the past five years, I have faithfully watched Dr. Oz, cardiologist and health expert, on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” His first television show aired on September 14, 2009. You can check your local television listings for channel and time in your area for “The Dr. Oz Show.”
The first show will “turn you on” to Dr. Oz, I’m sure. The show was titled, “The Anatomy of Sex: Top 4 Erogenous Zones Revealed.” It was just one of the many interesting topics on the show today. Topics included discussions on unnecessary surgery, erogenous zones, illness-inducing germs found in women’s purses, and dancing for weight loss. Quite a line-up of topics.
The discussion on women’s purses was both interesting and disgusting! All kinds of horrendous germs were found on some of the audiences’ purses. The solution? Never lay your purse on the floor in public places! Buy a small hook so you can hang your purse wherever you are. These hooks are available at www.silverhook.com starting at $12.99 and at www.newcharms.com starting at $4.45.
Makeup in one woman’s purse was tested and her lipstick had some nasty germs on it. The solution? Dip the tube of lipstick into a bowl of rubbing alcohol to kill the germs.
Another lady’s cell phone had fecal deposits on it. Yuk! The solution? An ultraviolet wand was waved over the phone to kill those germs. These wands are available at www.drugstore.com starting at $54.99. It would be useful for sanitizing many household items.
Step Stewart, choreographer, was a guest on the show today. He shared four simple dance moves that will help with weight loss. Eight women from the audience performed on stage with him. The dance has lots of great moves in it that looked like fun!
Dr. Mehmet C. Oz, is Vice-Chair and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University. He directs the Cardiovascular Institute and Complimentary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. On his daily television show he will share information on a wide variety of topics. “The Dr. Oz Show” is sure to be a hit! Dr. Oz’s knowledge of medicine and wellness is always delivered with a good sense of humor. He is fun to watch on television and makes medical issues easy to understand for laymen. If this first television show is any indication, “The Dr. Oz Show” will be teaching all of us a lot about health and wellness.
