The Durabrand Blender – Is it the Blender of Everyone’s Dreams?

Wal-Mart is a frequent stop for anyone on a budget, and that’s where I picked up my new Durabrand Blender. For only $10, it’s the cheapest I could find – and the blender is a must-have for anyone who needs to squeeze pennies. Even though it is cheaper than others, does it work as well? You will have to read this article to find out my review of the Durabrand Blender.

I’ve wanted a mixer for years, and after running around randomly, I decided to spend a little of my savings to dip into it. Looking at blenders that cost $40 and up, I almost did cartwheels and back flips when I found a Durabrand Blender at Wal-Mart for only $10!

Being tight on something, but not wanting to waste money on something that doesn’t work, I figured I could cough up the money and take my chances. Bringing it home, I immediately found that I could mix it up.

I scooped up some strawberries and plain yogurt I had made and threw them into my Durabrand Blender. With not so many buttons as fancy, I had the choice of Chop, Mix, Grate, Blender or Liquefy. Not since a gourmet, chef blender did I think those choices were more than my minimal blending needs.

I played around with my yogurt and strawberry mix until it was smooth. Thrilled to be the proud new owner of my Durabrand Blender, I just felt the need to play with it for a good chunk of time, it doesn’t matter anymore what my strawberry yogurt looks like in the end.

Waiting for each ball, and looking at the reticulated shoulders, he finally settled on the field, the old “Pulse” button.

While all the extra buttons are great on the Durabrand Blender, I find that if I need to blend, I just use the “Pulse” button. So far, my blender has held up well, and I’ve done a lot of mixing, shredding, grating and melting. My Durabrand blender has taken beatings for several months and still blends like it did in one day.

Overall, I have to give two thumbs up for my Durabrand Blender. I’m incredibly happy with the minimal $10 price tag, and since I usually only use one button, I don’t feel the need to spend more than $40 on a “name brand” blender. If you want a great blender at a fraction of the cost, definitely check out the Durabrand Blender!
