From 1999 to 2003, the Global market was dominated by the incredible Ferrari 360 models. The Ferrari 360 was a joint venture between Ferrari and Aloca. Aloca chassis produced the car. The chassis is made from all new aluminum and is 40% stiffer compared to its predecessor. Another advantage of the chassis of this model was that it was 28% lighter compared to other models of the same range. However, a notable aspect in this regard is the lightness, despite the 10% increase in the overall dimensions of the car. The 360 Ferrari models can be broadly classified under three headings according to their appearance and use. They are road models and race models. We will briefly discuss the pros and cons of both models here.
360 Ferrari road models
Ferrari had six road models of the 360 series. There are 360 Modena, 360 Spider, 360 Modena F1, 360 Spider F1, and Stradale Challenge. Each model had a unique specification for better performance. Mutina had a six-speed manual along with a 2-door sports luxury coupe covered by a fixed roof. 360 Araneus, according to many critics, is a reversible variation of the former. The Challenge Stradale was equipped with manual F1 electro-hydraulics for 360 degree challenges. The name Mutina had its origin from the city of Mutina. All most models of the Ferrari 360 road series followed the same path at the arc.
All 90 of them included V8 F131 cylinders. The bearing capacity and stroke of these models was 85/75 mm. 3586 cm³ was the total displacement capacity of all models of this series. The maximum rotation per minute of these models was 8000. However, the F1 models of both the Mutiny and Spider added some specifications. They could produce power up to 300 kW at 8500 rpm. 275 pounds per foot at 4750 rpm was the maximum capacity of the Golden models. Among the six road models of the Ferrari 360 series, the Stradale Challenge had the highest power output of 317 kW at 8,500 rpm. The maximum speed of these models was 186 miles per hour. It had the ability to reach from zero to 100 miles per hour in just 10.3 seconds after launch.

There are three examples in this category. Challenge 360, 360 GT and 360 GT-c. These examples were non-road variants of Mutiny. These models could weigh 265 pounds through carbon fiber and the interior amenities are looking for models in Mutinensi. . The interior of these models was completely stripped. As a result, the overall weight of the car has been reduced. Specifications such as fire extinguisher and roll cage are enhanced safety of these models. The rear screen of the device of these models was covered with acrylic glass. This cosmetic change is provided by excellent looking examples of road models.
Racing Boge dampers of conventional type were installed in racing models replacing the electronic suspension facility of Mutiny. As a result, the height of the car has been lowered and the speed and acceleration have improved. Although the mechanical performance of these models was more or less similar to the Mutiny models, there were some additional features. While looking at these models, more focus is given to weight reduction, better weight balance and handling.
