The Georgia Alpheus Group, located at 100 N. Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City, Georgia, is one of Fayette County, Georgia’s best-known seafood restaurants. Boasting fresh seafood, great white wine, and live music; Georgia’s Alpheus Group is often recommended to those looking for an enjoyable dining experience that doesn’t require a trip to Atlanta. After moving to the Georgia Alpheum Co. area I decided. I tried Murph’s Bar after receiving a recommendation from a neighbor. With prices ranging from $15.00 to $33.00 per entrée, I looked forward to an enjoyable week of meals for me and my family. Unfortunately, although the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, the food and management of Georgia Shymp Co. left much to be desired. leaves

Sit and himself

At 6:45 in the afternoon on Monday late night restaurants she was a little too busy to insist on being seated. The host herself was very friendly and the waitress was so nice that my little boy commented on how friendly she was. The waitress, besides being friendly, initially refilled our drinks; but after the meal he disappeared and did not ask if we should take food. Most importantly, the dessert never made it to our table, but (after inspection) magically appeared on the menu. Unfortunately, this disaster was not noticed until we were halfway home and my daughter asked about her loneliness.

Food

Most people who are interested in looking for a new restaurant are desperate to find out about food quality so I don’t hesitate to try. To make the most of the dining experience, we ordered soup, an appetizer, and a table. I was thinking of ordering an appetizer, but I was worried that we would get out and not eat the food. In retrospect I probably would have been much happier if I had just ordered a taste.

LAW

The two soup options available on our visit were clam chowder and gumbo. Knowing that I would follow up with a review (finally) I made sure to try both soups. The gumbo is very good, and it comes from someone who has eaten gumbo in some restaurants in Louisiana that specializes in it. The clam chowder was also good with the right amount of seasoning, but it wasn’t something I was going to eat.

Entrée

Although Alpheus Co. of Georgia and Murph bar are in seafood”>seafood restaurant, I just had to try surf ‘n live turf. Everything that involves 8 ounces of beef tenderloin, garlicky, creamy sauce gets my attention. Also, the meal comes with two grilled shrimp (my favorite personal) and “pile of fries” (personal kryptonite). We also ordered the fried shrimp, if it was good, since there were many good reviews of the fried options.

Now it’s time for the weekend.

I got a thick cut of beef tenderloin, it was pretty far from 8 ounces. I know what? I buy tenderloin steaks at least once a week (a family favorite) and I know I’ve eaten enough. Plus, where something is super small, it’s usually obvious. Then there was no garlic to speak of, and ivory white wine and shrimp sauce were the three. A shrimp steak was thrown at me and soaked in stinky, thick, smooth white goop.

The only thing that saved the meal was my one grilled prawn (yup only one prawn, even though the menu clearly stated two) and my 19 fries. Both were good, but whatever happens, do I really advertise? If someone tells me I’m getting two for something, I’ll take two, and if the word “high” is involved in the description, I can’t quickly count my part. Certainly none of the matter would have mattered unless the star of the meal (meat and shrimp) had tasted horrible.

Sadly, the fried shrimp and french fries weren’t much better. Again, meals came with a pitifully small portion. Worse, the shrimp had a weird, thin batter that gave it an odd texture after roasting. It was just an absolute mess of a main course from start to finish.

The waitress left after our food was brought to the table (she probably didn’t know the match) and brought the boxes without being monitored. The whole shrimp comes with a half and half Surf ‘n Turf entrée made at home with us and served absolutely no comments and no He asked questions. I’ll admit it’s been a long time since I’ve eaten at a restaurant that took such cheap savings and waited on staff that was clearly embarrassed by what they were serving.

I will make sure to get back to you in one. He never came to the table and I was so fed up with the course that I forgot that the order was placed until after we had left (and I would have paid). I checked the receipt at home and verified that I had indeed paid for a table that never made it to the table.

Management

Following my less than successful visit I tried to reach restaurant management. I was hoping that I would stop by one night and, if I came back on Friday or Saturday, we could buy a better meal. I didn’t get a feedback form and I’m not holding my breath. I read the reviews because the experience gives me the impression that once the food is out of the kitchen, the management washes their hands /a> of the entire harvest and focuses on collecting solutions.

Final Thoughts

I recommend the Georgia Alpheus Company in Peachtree City as one of the restaurants I pass. While the live music is enjoyable and the restaurant seems to have a loyal following, I cannot encourage anyone in good conscience to visit it knowing that they have a chance of getting a bad meal and leaving hungry. Considering the prices charged and the restaurant’s image it seems to want to maintain, the quality of the food (along with the quantity) needs some serious improvement.
