The Greatest Battle in All of Anime; Son Goku Vs. Frieza

The Japanese souls treated us with great battles and unique style when their initiation reached the States. They gave us battles with martial arts, giant mechas, magical duels, swordplay, and even battles with aliens. These battles have been seen in almost every imaginable place, in the densest spaces and even in alternate worlds.

But perhaps the most important of all these battles is brought to us by Akira Toriyama in a battle that lasted almost the whole time. It’s been a long battle that I sound great almost all the time, but I can make it sound even better. You see, some Japanese anime doesn’t have a season like in other countries, because of this one season can have up to 52 episodes, which is one episode a week for the whole year, and “Dragon Ball Z” is only one. He showed them.

Warning! Nothing but spoilers from here on out!

The greatest battle I have ever seen was a complete war between the two most powerful powers in the universe. One of these two fighters is known as Frieza, the most powerful dictator in the universe. He’s sneaky and smart and powerful enough to take down even the best fighters without getting out of the saddle.

According to Frieza, his power level is 750,000; Vegeta was able to put his top level at around 15,000 to my estimate of 20,000. With that amount of power Vegeta was able to focus his fury energy powerful enough to destroy the Earth; We can take this as true as we saw him blowing up the planet Aria before he came to Earth (Not seen in the Manga version). So Frieza is in charge more than 37 times.

So Frieza is already a powerful monster, but worse… Frieza has the ability to transform. In this new form he is much taller and much sharper; also has power in that form. It claims that its power in the new form was a million the last time it was clocked, and this can be taken as a fact of the acquired technology that can track energy levels.

It seems that he cannot strike; not worse, can it? Incredibly, it can change two seasons! In the third appearance, Frieza becomes like a space monster Alien and is much stronger and faster than he was before. His form is indeed the worst, but the form is imagined to be close.

Frieza’s final form is almost normal looking compared to his predecessors, but his power is confusing. This form is so powerful that it actually makes Vegeta proud, which probably could have already taken Frieza’s third form, so that he could actually cry tears for the first time, which he knows he can never overcome.

With Vegeta seemingly captured by an invincible monster, our other fighter finally arrives for the final battle. He took heavy damage earlier and had to spend time in the healing tank fighting other Frieza.

Son Goku is the main protagonist of the show and a strong martial artist in his own right. He fought against powerful opponents, but never against anyone powerful. Tune in as the good hero goes into battle, impressing his friends and getting Frieza back from his neighbor with his newfound powers after death.

As Goku pushes, Frieza steps back. Whenever Goku is seen punching Frieza, he immediately recovers with damage, seemingly taking no damage from the blow; although we can see the damage Goku takes, he takes us addicted, but does not give up and keeps rising. This is the first time Frieza begins to harass him, as he reveals that he is not even using half of his full power.

Goku knows he’s in a pinch, and decides he has no choice but to push his body beyond its limits. Goku happens to know a special technique that will allow his body to push his power beyond its limits, but he already uses it 10 times if he risks killing himself further. He was able to draw about 20 times for a small amount of time, but it still wouldn’t be enough if Frieza actually only used half his strength, but he chose to use it anyway, hoping that he was bluffing.

But it wasn’t… Even though a quick power boost overwhelms Frieza and actually hurts him, he was able to take away his attack.

Goku is now weak with only one hope left, the Spirit Bomb (Genki Dama in the Japanese version). But to use this attack, he has to absorb everything and everything that is around him. This creates an incredibly massive attack, but it takes too long to gather energy and there isn’t much life left on Earth.

Piccolo asks Gohan and Krillin to spare him enough energy to distract Frieza, enough for Goku to complete his Spirit Bomb. It was tough and ended up punching Piccolo, but Goku ended up blasting his breath and launched it at Frieza.

A battle ensued, but Frieza survived the crash. He’s had enough of the angry games and kills Krillin.

Fueled by anger at the loss of his friend, Goku transforms into the legendary Super Saiyan, a warrior said to be the strongest in history. The new force repels the monster Fieza, but it’s not enough for Goku, he wants Frieza to fight in full power.

Frieza obeys and powers up to 100 percent. The final round begins, and it looks like it’s going to be even. Will Goku be unable to defeat Frieza, or will Frieza defeat the world’s last hope?

I don’t want to spoil the ending, but I can tell you Frieza did this to make the planet explode for 5 minutes. Both fighters will be able to survive the explosion, but only Frieza can breathe in space. Go to the series and watch as they fight to the destruction of the planet.
