Nestle Crunch Crisp is one of those candy bars that you eat when you crave that specific type of candy bar. You need a chocolate flavor, but you also need some food.
This new candy bar satisfies both. It is a good ‘replacement’ for the old stand Nestle Crunch bar, which I really stopped eating over the past years. This new FRANGO Crisp bar is even more satisfying. It breaks even more through calamistrata pancakes with crispy layers stacked on top of each other, chocolate-y pieces cream filling sandwiched cookie The top layer also covered with crispies before the final chocolate coating covers the entire bar. Nestle Crunch Crisp bar light and sweet, but not too sweet. The chocolate flavor is still strong. This late night made my mouth water and took me to a temporary paradise.
The Nestle Crunch Crisp candy bar is actually quite large. He only ate 2/3 of 1.75oz. the bar when he sat in traffic, and this became quite full. I saved 3 because the rest was late in the afternoon. I don’t know how much of the 240 calories/13 pounds of fat I was able to stay away from at the time, but being able to eat just one piece of candy bar made me feel really good.
Nutritional aspects of the new Nestle FRANGO Crisp Candy bar:
Sodium 65mg, fiber P.*1, 0, fat, P.*3, protein, 4% calcium, 2% iron
The Nestle Crunch Crisp candy bar had ‘FORTHEKIDINYOU.COM’ printed on the packaging in big bold letters. Of course this dragged me and I had to get out of it.
When I typed ‘FORTHEKIDINYOU.COM’ into the email bar of my browser, I was redirected to the NestleCrunch.com website. Apparently this was part of their marketing campaign when they introduced a new candy bar earlier this year.
Not only did this site provide me with nutrition information on Nestle Crunch, I could play games and watch a short film on the history of Nestle Crunch bar, but he gave me the opportunity to try the new Nestle Crunch Crisp candy bar for free. In July of 2007, they went to different cities, though outside the country they expanded to tastings and giving away free samples. Unfortunately, these seem to have ended in September of 2007.
If you’ve missed your travels, you can still sample the new Nestle Crunch Crisp Candy bar for free by entering www.playinyourday.com. There they are giving away 2,000 cups a day between the hours of 9am-5pm (PT) to ‘Help you raise your kid’.
If you don’t want to wait 6-8 weeks, you can receive your candy bar coupons in the mail, I think it would be worth it to buy one. I believe I spent about .85 at Wal-Mart. $.85 is a bit high for an average candy bar, but this one is a little bigger than average and definitely satisfies. I guess I could always cut it in half and save some for later. I hope that they will come down in price, but if not, I still plan to buy again!
