In 6000 B.C. tobacco was discovered in America and since then it has been a favorite in all societies of the world. Since the 5th century A.D. there were people smoking tobacco from pipes. After centuries you have mastered the art of smoking pipes. We have the most technologically advanced pipes of any civilization so far. They are made from many different materials, such as glass, wood, materials and metals.
Glass is by far the most superior of all pipes in terms of performance. Smoking tobacco from a glass pipe greatly enhances the flavor. It is a smooth and pleasant smoking experience, but there are some drawbacks to smoking from a glass pipe. Cleaning the resin from the inner tube usually proves difficult, and the glass is more likely to be broken or chipped. However, if properly cared for, glass pipes will retain their beautiful, shiny form and sweet smoke.
As an experienced smoker and lover of seasoned tobacco, I have developed several techniques that will help you get the resin out of your glass pipes. There are several things you need and they are listed below.
- Pipe cleaners – Thin or thick depending on how big your pipe is.
- Cotton Swabs (Q-Tips
- Two 1-3″ thick pieces of terry cloth. Cut to the size of your pipe. If your hole is 1″ or smaller, use 2″ wide terry cloth. If it’s bigger, use more. Make sure it’s long enough to pull through the pipe.
- Candle Wax Wax or any oil based wax. Using a non-toxic oil cleaner will help break down the resin allowing it to be cleaned more easily.

The first thing you should do before cleaning the glass pipe is to remove all the pipes that are not part of the unit. Remove the bowl and filter pieces, if possible. After you have done this, you will only soak the bowls in a bowl that has been washed. Remember to use a non-toxic cleaner because you will smoke from this pipe after you clean it. Breathing in harsh chemicals is dangerous. While that part is soaking, you will clean the glass tube.
Make your pipe cleaner with your non-toxic cleaner and wipe the inside of your pipe. Here begins the breakdown of the sticky black resin. Move the pipe cleaner back and forth pulling the resin. Twist it a few times and pull it straight to one side. You want to draw as much resin as you can when the pipe is washed to loosen it. Then take it from the earthen cloth, and slightly moisten it to make it cleaner. Do not soak the cloth, let it be dry enough to catch the resin.
I twist the cloth into the opening of the organ. You will want to twist the corner of the cloth so that it is longer and thinner, but still tight inside the organ. You have to twist a lot in different ways to get the cloth through the pipe. After you’ve worked it through the glass tube, pull it out the length and out inside the organ 3-4 times. By removing the earthen cloth by pulling it from the same end that you put it in. This will reduce the amount of reduce stress in the mirror.
If there are still some spots inside the glass tube use a swab dipped in the cleaner part. Put the worn end of a cotton swab into the tube, and carefully examine the spots that remain. dry Take the end of the swab and wipe off the excess. Once you have completed this process, you need to wipe the inside and outside of your pipe to clean any extra cleaner. Twist the ground cloth through the pipe again to remove all the cleaner. When done, wipe the outside of the pipe with other smaller towels or tissues.
If you remove the bowl that is rubbed into the washer. Wipe off any excess, first cleaning the outside, then the inside. When cleaning the interior of the bowl, the resinous surface should be wiped with a cloth or towel. So with this part cleaned, you can put the glass tube back together. If you want to be absolutely sure there is no cleaning residue on the glass tube then rinse it under hot water. a> and thirsty
The entire cleaning process should only take 10-15 minutes. The amount of smoke will determine how often you will need to clean your pipe. After all the smoke and pipe I put down, but that’s my personal preference. You now have a liquid crystal pipe that is ready for smoking.
