The Seven Chakras in Dogs and Their Influences

There are seven chakras found in the dogs body. These are similar to the human chakras.

The Seventh Chakra–The Crown

The crown chakra is located at the top of the head between the ears. This chakra influences the cranium, the right side of the brain, the right side of the face, and the right eye. It is known to inspire and enhance inspiration, an overall feeling of oneness, wisdom, and spirituality. If the dog is having problems with this chakra the behavior patterns will show severe depression, uninterest in activities, lack of inspiration, and lack of grounding to the earth.

The Sixth Chakra–The Third Eye

The third eye chakra is located between the eyes slightly higher up on the head. This chakra influences the left side of the brain, the left side of the face, the forehead, the ears, the nose, the base of the skull, and the nervous system. If this chakra is functioning properly your dog will experience imagination and deep concentration. If this chakra is not functioning properly you animal will experience headaches, poor eyesight, and an overall lack of concentration.

The Fifth Chakra–The Throat

The throat chakra is located in the upper throat. This chakra influences the thyroid, lungs, respiratory system, forelegs, paws, mouth, throat and the vocal system. If this is functioning properly in your dog they will be able to communication with you without any hardship. If this is unbalanced you animal will have difficulty communication, with their self esteem, and the inability to express their emotions.

The Fourth Chakra–The Heart

The heart chakra is located in the heart area. This chakra influences the heart, circulation, chest and the immune system. If this is functioning in your dog, you dog will exhibit unconditional love, forgiveness, compassion, and tolerance. If this is not functioning your dog will have an overwhelming amount of anger, heart problems, and most importantly a lack of love. This lack of love can be as mild as a loss of love for toys, treats, or games or as severe as a lack of love for their owners.

The Third Chakra–The Solar Plexus

The solar plexus chakra is located on the dogs upper chest a few inches behind their front legs. This chakra influences the stomach, gallbladder, pancreas, liver, diaphram, kidneys, and nervous system. If this chakra is functioning properly the dog will experience determination, assertion, personal power, and overall happiness. If this is not functioning the dog will have difficulty with anger, poor digestion, eat disorders, fear, and even hate.

The Second Chakra — The Spleen

The spleen chakra is on the dogs stomach. This chakra influences pelvis, reproductive organs, large and small intestines, and the stomach. If this is functioning properly your dog will experience desire and pleasure. If this is not functioning your dog will have difficulty with jealousy, possessiveness, bladder problems, and lower back pain.

The First Chakra–The Root

The root chakra is found at the base of the dogs tail. This chakra influences adrenal glands, spines, bones, legs, back paws, colon, tail, and kidneys. If this is functioning properly your dog will experience good health, survival instincts, and an overall vitality with life. If this is not functioning properly your dog will have difficulty with violence, anger, constipation, and fears of survival.
