He has sold thousands of records worldwide, and has the potential to be the best rapper of his generation.
5. Nelly‘s the originator of St. Louis putting rap on paper. After releasing Country Grammar 2000 in 2000, Nelly became a hip-hop megastar. He has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide cementing his status as the best seller in the rap game. He is a great singer, entertainer and performer. Nelly won Grammys and made history by releasing two albums Sweat and Suit on the same day, which took two spots on Library albums chart. Mass Magazine ranked Nelly as the number three Top Super Artist of the decade.
6. Ludacris was a rap star when he released his major label debut, Back First, in October 2000. He is very active, a great lyricist, and has a great impact on the hip. -hop culture, and is one of the most commercially successful Southern rappers ever.
