The Top 20 Beatles Songs

I could be here all day talking about The Beatles and why I’m such a huge fan. But because of time, what I’m saying is for me, there’s never a time when I don’t find the perfect Beatles song in whatever way it is. The Beatles and their wonderful music have been there for me through the hard times, the happy times, the tired times, the sad times, and the funny times. I understand it’s not a big time with these guys, but it’s a great music discussion. I can’t really say when I first got hooked on the Beatles.

I remember that I was probably the only one of my friends at the time who really liked them, and as time went on, my appreciation for the guys grew like a weed. Not only are their lyrics great, but the instrumentals just blow me away. The voices experienced that no one else dared to go, that it was not even possible to think. In short, the gloss on this side is not clear.

They also have their own songs with a few basic chords. Even then, some of these guys were almost doing things that seemed magical. It was just an element when they were together. It’s something that so many bands want, but very few have. Of course, without the book, here is my list of what I consider to be the top 20 Beatles songs of all time, with some honorable mentions.

No. 20 – Blackbird – Paulus sings this, and makes it great as usual. The song is very simple and so gentle (an acoustic guitar and some beats), but the songs are wonderful and the song is wonderful.

No. 19 – And Your Bird can sing a wonderful guitar solo, and this almost makes the whole song go round. John did a good job on vocals and once again had people rushing to tell him what he meant. I think the song represents a simple fact: material things aren’t everything and really not much (tell me you’re all you ever wanted/And your grandma can sing/But you don’t own me/You don’t belong to me). It may be just me, but I think that the meaning of this poem has been distorted by the figure, when it was really quite simple. Great tune.

No. 18 – Helter Skelter : Probably one of the hardest-sounding Beatles songs. I love the slightly shrill vocals on this one. Many people get this song confused with Manson and all the chaos and murders surrounding him. However, this song is really (believe it or not) about kids sliding/riding in amusement-parks in England. Indeed, the meaning of such an innocent, which can be taken in so many different contexts.

No. 17 – Here Comes the Sun – This is one of the beautiful Beatles songs from The Abbey Road album. I don’t know why I like this so much, but I do. Maybe because this song is so friendly and has such a happy feeling about being in the sun ( Here comes the sun / Make me do it / Here comes the sun / It’s okay / I’ll go ) . It’s just one of those good songs when the songs feel the beat, and it’s a chance to see how talented George really is.

No. 16 – Don’t Me Down – John leads this one (my Beatle guy), and delivers a nice performance. I don’t know if he’s talking about Yoko in this part, and about his true love for her (and also his fears) (I’m the first love / You don’t know the last one / It’s a love that’s eternal / It’s a love that has no past). The instrumentals are amazing in this song, and every time I listen to it, it always reminds me that this was the last song that the guys will ever play together (and on top of that building).

No. 15 – Run Together – Lennon’s great vocals with a great message.

No. 14 – While My Guitar Gently Weeps – This is George’s song. I’ve always wondered why George doesn’t get more opportunities to sing songs like this, because he really shines.

No. 13 – Hey Jude – What don’t you like? Paul wrote this to John Lennon’s son, and it became one of the greatest Beatles of all time.

nor 12- Centurion. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club – Upbeat, cute lyrics, fun song, and just awesome instrumental What’s not to like?

No. 11 – I Want You (She’s Heavy) – Just listen to the guitar and you’ll know what I mean.

N. 10 – Bliss is the heat of the guns – Sometimes the tempo changes too quickly and the flaws in the song are minor, but this is a great modulation apart from those little things (which I just ignore now anyways). Determining the meaning can be somewhat difficult since there are so many opinions about what John is really talking about. Every time I try to analyze the books, I find something new in the song and so I have to start again. Just listen now. John with musical talent. I can say that.

No. 9. Let It Be – Just an amazing song that always lifts my spirits and gives me hope when I hear it. (When I find myself in a time of trouble/Mother Mary comes to me/Speaking words of wisdom/Let it be).

No. 8 – Lucia in The Sky With Diamond – Written because John’s son is a cartoon character named Luci? I guess we never really knew, but the results were outstanding. Many people think this song is too weird even for the Beatles (that’s right… listen to Revolution 9. Now I also agree that one Beatles song that I cannot enter), but I enjoy all things strange.

No. 7 – The Ballad of John and Yoko – A simple song with simple strings about the wedding and the wedding of John and Yoko. As simple as it may be, the songs have a beat and John plays perfect crotonation behind the keyboards, guitars and maracas.

No. 6 – In My Life – A simple song with a beautiful piano work about John looking back at all the places, people and things he loved in his life. This song always reminds me of someone or something (from the past) almost every time I listen to it.

No. 5. – Eleonora Rigby – Beautifully written, beautifully sung, and particularly beautiful instrumentals. This is one of those songs that just grew on me the more I heard it. I wasn’t a big fan of this particular song at first, but now I’ve become popular after hearing more and realizing just how interesting this song is.

No. 4 – With Paul’s Help From My Friends – I love her singing lead with Ringo, and I also love this love song (What would you do if they fell apart?/Will you stand and walk over me lend your ear and I’ll sing you a song/And I’ll try not to sing off key /I take a little help from my friends/ Oh, with my little help I climb high. Ringo does a fabulous job with this song. One of my favorite favorites of all time. This one came close to the top three, but I just couldn’t see the others bumping down.

No. 3. – I am a walrus – Words that have no sense, some are also compound. The music is an experiment and seems to come up with one really new song. Well, that’s exactly what I love. John is in his most famous moment (in my opinion). I could listen to this song over and over and never get tired of it.

No. 2 – Classic Fields Forever – Another song that is a bit of an experiment, but the end result is wonderful.

No. 1 – A Day in the Life – The first time I heard this song I was so blown away that I immediately played it over and over again. There is so much in this one song (instrumental, lyrical, vocal) that it still amazes me every time I listen to it. The track begins slowly, John and Paul come in (moving the song into a more numbered sound), and both of them taking their lyrics from previous songs to combine in this one song, making this way very special.
