Most everyone knows Disney and Disneyland. Even people who know the least about any media seem to be Disney. After all, who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and the rest? Then, there’s ‘Princess’ and all the other famous movies that people love, too. On July 17, 1955, Disneyland theme Park opened in Anaheim, California. While many things are known about Disney and Disneyland, there are always things that are little known. Here are top 5 facts about Disneyland.
Disney Anaheim changed year
It is not exactly certain what year it was built by Disney. However, Disneyland is about to be built in Anaheim, CA. This changed the city which started with only five hotels, two motels and 34 restaurants. Businesses didn’t come to Anaheim right away, but when theme Park opened in the year, it was open. the gates to the city business were coming.
Walt Disney Spirited Away at Disneyland
The lantern above the fireplace on Main Street USA at Disneyland is always burning. This is to show that the spirit of Walt Disney is always there. The tradition began after Disney died. The reason for this is that when Disneyland was built, Walt Disney had a private building built around the fire station. He could live there and oversee the park building. After the park was built, Disney and his family still used the room. When he was there, he would light a candle. But the lamp is always lit as if he were there, so that his spirit might be represented there.
Disneyland gave Steve Martin a career
From the age of 10 to 18, comedian Steve Martin worked at Disneyland. He started selling books through director. He ended up selling various things and finally learned how to do and throw magic tricks. He even imitated his catch: “Come on, excuuuuse me” in one of his songs.
Disneyland is green
Disneyland does not throw away all the toys that are in the box. The park makes sure to recycle what it can. Over four million pounds of cardboard, over a million pounds of organic waste, and thousands of pounds of paper, glass, plastic, and aluminum are recycled each year.

If you go to Disneyland, you may know everyone who works there by name. This is because every staff member wears a name tag. If it is true that it pertains to every man, it also draws goats on horses.
