The key to building a winning boat is to have an even schedule so you can get what you need. So you need a good balance between energy, trainer, basic Pokemon and evolution cards. A normal full deck has 60 chests.
1. The most important thing you need to think about is an energy comb. Personally, I think a film should always have between 20 and 22 energy cards. The type you want should be based on what energy your Pokemon use in the deck for their attacks. Try to build your deck so that you only need two or three types of energy so you can have the best type of energy when you need it . I find it useful to also be able to make one of my energy signatures clear energy, which can come in handy if I need a Pokemon or without color, I need to do any type of energy attack. Since you can only play one energy card per turn, it’s best if you have the sense to put on your active or bench Pokemon then do both turns. Don’t do it though, since the card needs a lot of energy, and it doesn’t seem like it needs much more. Also, try not to waste a specific type of energy that is specific to other Pokemon’s attacks, it’s not just to do a clear energy attack unless you have no other choice.
2. Second, you need a Pokemon card. Someone may say that this is especially important because you cannot play without Pokemon on board. While this is true, when it comes to winning the game, it can really come down to whether or not you want to use the energy chest for Pokemon attacks. Depending on your exercise routine this part of your deck can range from 20 to 40 cards. Pokemon cards have the most important Pokemon in abundance that have decent attacks, without which you can’t last long enough to pull off an evolution and make it worthwhile. A good plan for the Pokemon you have in stage 1 and stage 2 cards should be to have 3 basic Pokemon, 2 of their stage 1 evolution, and 1 of their stage 2 evolution. Also, remember when picking your Pokemon, make sure they only have two or three energy types (the hyaline type doesn’t count when counting this, as it can be satisfied with any energy type) and that’s it. They are the energy chest in your boat.
3. Finally, trainer cards can be used, although I don’t find them absolutely necessary. Personally, the only ones I find useful are draw cards (don’t fire them or you’ll end up using your deck), health/potion cards, and quest cards (especially energy quests. ). Depending on your card choices, this part of your decor can range from 0 to 20.
It is based on my deck building strategies described above with an ordinary deck that I play with 20 energy chests and 10 trainers. Of course, it varies a little depending on the cards I choose for the deck, but I never do that one under twenty-five cards.
