Tips for the Weight Watchers Newbie

Trying to lose weight can be the most frustrating experience for anyone. After many failed attempts to lose weight and keep it off, my husband and I decided to try Weight Watchers and we were both pleased with the results we saw and the progress itself. After the first few weeks in our program, however, we came up with some very useful tips for weight watchers newbies;

1. Try and sign with partner

Everything is better if you can share it with someone, right? So having a partner to complain to, encourage them, and celebrate their accomplishments will certainly make the journey more bearable.

2. The monthly period is the journey

3. Continue to the meeting

I was a little hesitant to start the meeting, since neither of us really knew what to expect. Before you start the meeting and it’s not, it’s not in the room. 6. Do it in a spreadsheet

We were given a tip as to the spread of all the items we used which included serving size and price points for each serving. So we got one rainy afternoon at two o’clock and we went through the whole kitchen and we just did this. As a result, it is very useful to have a plate that hangs in the cold if we can quickly find the points of value of all the things that are usually stocked in our kitchen.

7. Some food can be measured, counted and quickly grabbed

After a long day, the least thing you want to do is come home and ask for measurement and shape points. Take some time and have a few serving items and points already designated.

8. Tell people what you’re good at

The more I’ve followed people’s accounts, the more people I find who are in, or have been in, the program. Each one not only lost weight, but also gave me their own tips and encouragement to keep going. And believe me, every word of encouragement goes further than you think!
