Tips when Applying for the Show “Survivor”

In my research to be on the TV show “Survivor” I did a lot of research which I will summarize here:

1. Very important – Read each and every part of the paper you have in the initial letters that you have to fill out. You can print the entire application on the CBS website, but it’s only available at certain times, typically after the survival episode has ended. Make sure you go through everything twice and see how complete it is before you cut off the mail. I made a very stupid mistake in not including my passport. Also, you should include a passport or at least include it in your documents that you have filed for one. If you don’t have a passport at the event, you need to snap it up because it can take up to two months to arrive unless processed. The Survivor staff won’t even look at your video if you don’t include every single document.

2. When you create your own unique video, remember that you know who you are. They want to see personality. Many people, thousands of people for that matter, think that all the staff want to see is their shirts taken off and their bodies exposed. They saw enough of this. So if they like you, they will have enough to see your body in the final stages, when you will have to take refuge in a place marked for physical combat and psychological testing. For video ideas, get rental survival and personal movie reviews included at the end. Your video doesn’t have to be professional, just unique. It is better to drive it in your environment then go to casting calls where you sit in the cell and talk about yourself. Borrow a video camera or rent one if you have one. Your chances are better if you can take it back and put your own personal touch on it in your favorite places whether at home, work or sex!

3. Get involved in survival blogs and message boards. Many have tried over and over again on these shows. Some are even called in for an interview and offer helpful suggestions on what to do or what not to do.

4. During the time you are waiting for the mail package before the interview, you will want to practice fasting and cuffs to enter the form. If you can’t go a mile without huffing and puffing, then this is the time to build up your stamina.

Good luck and maybe I’ll see you on the island! ;-
