These days action movies have become dying, perhaps because movies are becoming more and more popular, demanding. that their heroes show at least a modicum of acting talent, or maybe they see the same movie too often now. Although the action movie genre still exists, it’s nowhere near as charming and tongue-in-cheek parodies as Shoot ‘Em Up showcase just how far sentiment for these once guaranteed blockbusters has fallen. However, in the 80s, big hair, big muscles, and loud explosions were on the edge of their seats. Here are my picks for the top 10 action movies of the 80s:
