Top 12 Websites to Find Free Poser Content

A few months ago, Content Paradise offered a free copy of Poser 5 to anyone who wanted it. Poser is a 3D art program that uses 3D objects and characters to create pictures. Of course, you can do much more with it, for example to make your own clothes. Many people, including those with little or no experience with 3D art, jumped at the chance to get a free copy of this program. While Poser 5 comes with more characters, clothing and accessories, many of our characters, costumes, props and environments are also getting it. Although not everyone will have money in me. So I’ve put together this list of websites that offer free content to use in Poser, which includes shapes, props, layers, environments, textures and hair. By the way, all of this can generally also be used in Daz Studio, the free 3D software also offered by Daz Productions.

1. Daz productions. Before you visit anywhere else, you must visit this page. Daz is one of the leading distributors of 3D content on the web. Once a week they offer a free item from their catalog that’s only free for that week, so make sure you get it during the week in question if you want the item, otherwise it goes back to having a price. They also have a large archive with lots of costs. The following characters are added for free: Victoria 3.0, Michael 3.0, and Aiko 3.0. 6. 3D Commons offers a lot of the same kind of free content as Renderosity too. They have over 300 pages of free content, although some of it is duplicated from the rendering site, as creators often pack it into one site. Even now it’s worth checking out the free pages at 3D Commons. After you sign up, which is again free, you can visit them here: http://www.3dcommune.com/

7. Poser Corner is another German language site, but even as in the Adorana site, what is there can usually be seen. They have a large freebie section that includes several characters from Victory 3.0. While you won’t be able to use the morph files if you don’t have an extra Daz head and body file, you can still download these files and use the body textures, make-ups, costumes or props that are sometimes available. also included There are also a few free clothing frames, and a variety of texture frames for free clothing objects that you can draw either on their site or elsewhere. Textures allow you to change the colors and design of Poser objects when new to 3D. You can make any of the free items without a subscription. Visit their website here:

8. Studio Maya is unique in that it has a free character name Maya Doll also provides a clothing pak for her. Many others also made clothes, and also made fabrics for clothes. Yes, she is a very well-dressed character, although perhaps not as well-dressed as Victoria 3.0. I look forward to much more from Studio Maya in the near future. You can download the Maya Doll and outfit pak here: http://www.3digitalcrafts.net/studiomaya/index.html

9. Andi3D is one of the best freepositories on the web. Andi has over 100 free items on her site, some of which include castles, bridges, swords, maps, lamps, and much more. The show is well worth it when you ask for new props to enhance your Poser cultures to make them more realistic. It requires you to sign up, but it’s free to view all the pages mentioned so far. They are definitely worth looking at for their high quality freebies! Their website address is: http://www.planetvixens.com/

There are many more websites on the internet that offer free blogging, the ones mentioned in this article are the ones I visit regularly because they often have new free content. Enough on these sites to arm Victoria 3.0, and Aiko 3.0 over the year! So, if you’re strapped for cash like me, check out all the freebies on the internet and save to your heart’s content. One word of warning, always read-me and/or the license of each item before using it, because sometimes a free item cannot be used commercially without the author’s permission. I’ve found that most allow commercial use, but it’s always better to be ahead of the game and check it out first. However, if you do not intend to use the artwork in your commercial projects as a book cover, for example, then you have nothing to worry about. Happy exposition and translation!
