Here are five different sets of dog boots that will keep you dog’s feet protected and warm from any harsh conditions mother nature brings on.
1. Ruff Wear Grip Trex Boots:
These boots are for all season, and can travel on any terrain. They have a vibram sole which allows for comfort while in use. The bottom part of the boot is very rugged, allowing for maximum traction and grip. Work great in all types of ground from snowy trails, to jagged and rock filled mountains. The boot also uses Velcro to easily take and put the boot on and off. The Ruff Wear Grip Trex Boot seems to be a bit pricey, but it really gets the job done. They cost $60 on Rei.com.
2. Ruff Wear Bark’n Boots Skyliner:
Here we have another great pair of boots. This boot features a comfortable fit that is for everyday wear. It keeps out hazardous materials like glass, thorns and rocks from getting to your pup’s paws. They Velcro shut, with a nice snug feel. The soles are made from a lightweight, durable rubber, that happens to be puncture resistant. When the day is done, you can toss them in the wash, because these are machine washable too! The Ruff Wear Bark’n Boots are selling for $50 on Rei.com.
3. Granite Gear Mush Dog Boots:
These boots are great for mushing, or if you live in a snowy, icy area. The Granite Gear Mush Dog Boot has a fleece outer surface that allows for insulation. Like most of these boots, it too uses Velcro to close itself. It sells for the price of $18 on Rei.com. Although this may seem like a good price, the boot is not as high of quality as the other two listed above.
4. Comfy Dog Boots:
This boot is much different than the others listed above. This particular type is built more for indoors and comfort. They are made from 100% cotton and a rubber, non-slip bottom. The Comfy Dog Boots come in five different colors; pink, light blue, dark blue, black and camouflage. On Dog-Booties.net, this boot sells for $17. These are not built for rugged terrain use!
5. Average Dog Boot:
This is your average dog boot at an affordable price. It keeps out pretty all the materials that are hazardous to your dog’s paws. They come in three colors; blue, pink, and yellow. These average dog boots cost $14.99 to $23.99 on Doggievogue.com.
I hope these five sets of dog booties helped you find what you’re looking for. If you just need, “a pair,” of dog boots, I’d recommend going with the average dog boot. It’s nothing fancy, but it will work.
