Some people love spiders. Others hate them. There are many species of spiders, and sometimes whether you love or hate spiders depends on the species. Of course, it seems that more spiders and decorations appear around Halloween. It is good to know the facts about spiders so that they do these things more accurately, even if they are thought to be cute.
Here I am lookin’ at you. . . or you . . or You, Kid
People can easily say the line, “Look at you, kid,” and look at one person. But this might be difficult for spiders. Most spiders have eight eyes. Focusing on one spot with eight eyes seems to be difficult, but maybe spiders can do it. Of course, spiders don’t have that many eyes.
Spiders weave figures
The most famous figure of the spider is known as the “wheel-wheel”. These are the web shapes that are most often seen in soups and Halloween decorations. But spiders weave different shapes. Cobwebs spin webs in spinning wheels. there are spiders that weave webs that are stretched out and narrower at the top and bottom. These are like flat funnels, so they are called funnel webs. There are also spiders that weave horizontal webs. These webs are known as spider webs.
Curtsey. . . or Don’t
The women curtsey by bending their knees and stooping, usually one leg behind the other. But it would be hard to curtsey the spider! Of course it’s the number of legs, but that spider’s 48 knees make it hard to curtsey! That’s six knees for every eight legs!
Spiders don’t eat, they drink
Spiders do not eat food. They cannot eat solid food. When a spider catches an insect, it either covers it with digestive juices or injects it with poison. This turns the insides of the insect into a liquid or “mush”. The spiders will drink this soup. The exteriors of insects are usually left and often look like the insect when it is alive.
Miss Muffet was real
Little Miss Muffet is known as a nursery rhyme. It is not known that Miss Muffet was a real person. Her name is Little Miss Mouffet. His father was Dr. Mouffet, who was thinking about her and the spider men. If they ate spiders, they could heal from various ailments. It would not be surprising if he was afraid of his father, because he made spiders when he was near, so it seemed as if he was afraid of spiders.
