Despite the occasional lack of originality in films, I feel that in recent years we have led to an even greater gap between complete rubbish and true inspiration. More and more terrible movies are coming out, but sometimes great ones are set, and 2010 was a year that showed that inspiration does not die in the film industry. Here are my 5 favorite movies of the year.
5. Waiting for Superman
This document was very eye-opening and saddening about the state of education in America. It followed a number of different students reasoning through the experience, and while it was easy to pray that it would turn out well for all of them, the story is not fiction, and the devastating truth is coming to light about America’s neglected students. There was a lot amazing here, and it was all presented in an interesting and easy to follow manner. This is the best document I’ve seen in a while, and the one thing that really interests me is what the education system does here.
4. Never Let Me Go
This is a wonderful sci-fi movie (although it’s more conceptual than visual) that follows the romance of people who learn to be born and raised action movie, the perfect comedy, the perfect teen movie, the perfect comic book movie; almost everything you want to be. Is it shallow at the end? I think, however, that nothing else is meant than that they ride with admirable pleasure. I can’t think of a single thing that went wrong with this movie, and all the leaps and bounds were made better than any comedy or action action filmThe black swan
I love this movie. Darren Aronofsky has shown that he is an amazing filmmaker, and although Restful Dream is one of my favorite movies Pi I don’t totally agree with him. Given that, I wasn’t sure if I was going to love The Tiger That a lot. But Ognus was more than just a visual treat – it’s everything a psychological watch should be – disturbing, dark, scary, intense, immersive, brilliant, well-acted, well-shot, everything. and it has a finiteness, which could only be perfectly described. This is not only one of the best movies of the year, but it has to be overshadowed by the best of the last few years, if only for one movie that is…
1. Inception
Many consider this choice typical, unoriginal, even premature. And I tell them, just because the movie is fun doesn’t mean it’s fantastic. I feel like a bunch of people are destined to hate Inception because it’s a deep, thought-provoking, wonderfully constructed film that happens to appeal to a mainstream audience. It had incredible CGI, but an incredible and original engine. One critic even went so far as to say that the movie wasn’t as cohesive as people thought, and they teased him. But, for the user, the easy but, the result, the easy but. Isn’t the purpose of complicated history to emphasize itself so that people can understand it? Initiation is one of the most amazing sources of to come out and develop stories in time amazing action, amazing acting the reasoning, the amazing plot, the amazing pacing, and so many jaw-dropping moments I could hardly keep myself in my seat. This is one of the most perfect films ever released in my opinion, certainly the best of these years. This movie won’t get Best Picture because it’s so CGI heavy and unimaginative, and I honestly feel like the Academy is all about what Inception isn’t. But I think it’s one of the most fantastic things that’s been released in theaters for a long time, and you don’t, I feel that way.
If you missed any of these movies this year, do yourself a favor and watch them, because they are definitely worth your time and money!
