Many of you don’t know that I am originally from East Tennessee. I called East Tennessee home for the first 17 years of my life before moving to Western North Carolina. Cumberland Gap is one of the most beautiful places in East Tennessee. I grew up only 20 miles away from the Cumberland Gap area and spent days day hiking through the area. One of the main attractions in Cumberland Gap would be the tri-state market. After a short climb you will actually be able to stand in three states at once (Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia). Also the views are amazing.

Chances are you’ll see a sign at one point that says “Visit Ruby Falls” or “Come See Ruby Falls.” Ruby Falls is a beautiful cave located in Chattanooga. This underground cave was so beautiful that the man named it after his girlfriend. All the attractions in Ruby Falls cost under $30 to visit.

The Tennessee Aquarium is also located in Chattanooga. This aquarium is huge. At the Tennessee Aquarium you’ll see everything from sharks to otters. Neyland Stadium is home to the Tennessee Vols. If you are a fan, you must visit this stadium. Neyland Stadium is the 3rd largest college stadium in the country, and in 2001 was voted the most popular college stadium in the country.
