If you’re an avid reader of my Affiliate Content Articles, you’ve probably noticed by now that I’m playing a home decorating game. I live for paint, wooden floors, exotic vases and I haven’t even started throwing myself on pillows; I can go on for hours throwing pillows around. For this reason, I thought it necessary and appropriate to let you in on my shopping secrets. Below, I’ve outlined three of my favorite places to shop for home decor at insanely affordable prices. I’m cheap, but I also appreciate luxury items, and these supplies allow me to find a happy medium between the cheap streets and the urban home decor of lust.
IKEA
IKEA is the holy grail of home decor on a budget, period. IKEA home furniture, accessories, cake, bakery and almost everything else you can put at home for one place. a price that falls far below wholesale. If you keep up with home decor blogs, you’re probably under the impression that IKEA only caters to the home decor aesthetic of modern day hipsters, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. IKEA offers prints, fabrics, accessories and furniture in a variety of decorating styles. From traditional, exotic, modern, contemporary and eclectic, they have something for everyone. How would you get a queen bed for around $100? These are the types of prices that IKEA offers every day. You can probably tell that I’m already a rabid IKEA fan, but there’s only one thing I’m not so keen on: you have to have all the furniture together. If you are handy and it can be done, you are set for life!

Wal-Mart
When I lived in the heart of New York, Wal-Mart was a distant dream. Now that I live in the country, Wal-Mart is almost the only place to go food shopping, get your hair and nails done and home decor shopping When it comes to decorating the house, I’m a tough cookie and hard to impress. But Wal-Mart surpassed my expectations. They stock a plethora of art, tools, accessories, and window treatments; and since they are Wal-Mart, they also manage to do it at a cheap price. Now I will admit, if your ideal home décor style is gothic, modern or exotic, you will be at a loss. However, if the style is based on the contemporary or traditional side of the scale, you will be in home decor heaven. You can do your food shopping and homedecor shopping in the same place. And, if you own one of these tech guys, you can just drop it off in the electronics section before you start shopping.
Wal-Mart Website
Out of all the three home deco stores mentioned, Big Lots takes the prize for the most cheap-o. Like Wal-Mart, Big Lots offers much more than just home decor and furniture, but these are indeed the star items. Three weeks ago, I picked up a large African style floor vase for $30; The retail price is over $80! I’m psyched. I can attest to the fact that Big Lots caters to all styles of home decor. So, if you have a Russian home decor sense, Big Lots is your go-to condo. They also carry a wide range of elegant indoor and outdoor furniture.
