Top College Football Players of 2012

Now that most high school recruits have signed to their new colleges in 2011, it’s time to take a look at the top college football players in 2011/2012. Obviously, Andrew Luck will be the top prospect if he does well, but there are other names that many who haven’t heard of may be on next year’s NFL Draft. Below are the top four college football players from the 2011/2012 college football season.

No.1: Andrew Luck: Stanford – Luck would have been the top pick in this year’s NFL Draft, he had decided to leave. I absolutely respect his decision to stay in school. The kid gave power million dollar-man”>six-million-dollar-man”>at least, if bad in 2011 he, but certainly Plays to do what he loves in one year. I don’t think he will have any problems dominating college football in 2011. Jim Harbaugh’s loss to Stanford will hurt his chances of making the BCS bowl game but still it is a possibility. I look forward to being the number one pick in the next year’s NFL Draft.

2: Michael Floyd : Notre Dame-There are several receivers who could go at this point, but in my opinion Floyd is the best. Floyd has a rare combination of size and speed. He has been known to have huge games, but the distance is easily passed. It usually seems that it tries to display too early sometimes and tries to display the transition drops. Many people are unaware that Floyd even exists but when he rolls around next year in the NFL, everyone will know his name. Floyd will be the first round pick.

No. 3: Janoris Jenkins: Florida-Jenkins is high on my list of NFL Hopes for Next Season . NFL teams are always looking for tight ends because if you can pick off one receiver in a game, you have a big advantage. . Jenkins would have been a first round pick this season, but would have been a third or fourth cornerback. I think his opinion is excellent. The second thought about teams in the first round this year would have been because of the depth of the cornerback in the NFL Draft. Next season, he will be the top cornerback in the nation and could be drafted high by teams desperate for a cornerback.

No. 4: Landry Jones: Oklahoma-Jones is being overlooked now, but he will soon be in the conversation about the top running back player in the nation. Jones has great intangibles and I think he will have a great season in 2011/2012. I think Landry Jones will be the Heisman winner next season and Oklahoma will play in the National Championship. Scouts will be more excited about Jones due to the success of Sam Bradford. Sam Bradford came from the same program at Oklahoma, and took the worst team in the NFL to a middle of the road team in the NFL in one season.
