Mitchell Technical Institute is one of the most innovative community colleges in South Dakota as well as one of the fastest growing public two-year colleges in the nation. The Crow Lake MTI Wind Turbine program offers hands-on training in turbine technologies at three-levels; a two-semester diploma program, a diploma/internship program and a two-year AAs degree option. Tuition assistance for up to 75% of the cost of Green Energy training is provided by a South Dakota Department of Labor State Energy Sector Partnership Grant. MTI also offers a four-day Energy Auditor certification and a three-day Heating and Cooling Remediation Certification.
