Top Five Books on Nutrition

There are many nutrition books available today that will help you get started on the path to better health. The only problem you may have is selecting the right books for you. I tend to be one of those people who like quick, easy-to-read, bullet styled lists as opposed to books that are verbosity laden in which I must search to find the main points. As such, when looking for the top five nutrition books I would recommend the following to help you start leading a healthier and more nutritional lifestyle.

The NutriBase Nutrition Facts Desk Reference

The NutriBase Nutrition Facts Desk Reference is written by Art Ulene and available in paperback. There are over 40,000 entries for food with each being rated for nutritional content, calories, calories from fat, etc. If you’re interested in looking up information about fruits, vegetables, fast foods, or brand name foods, this is the book for you. While this desk reference is a good book for facts, you may also want to read it in conjunction with one or more of the following in order to learn how to put the foods together for your best benefit. The NutriBase Nutrition Facts Desk Reference is available at Amazon.com.
