Skiing in Illinois
IL cut top-ski-resorts has several areas and resorts. The first ski area/resort is Chestnut Mountain Resort. It is located at 8700 W. Chestnut Mountain Road in Galena, Illinois. Illinois is peppered with trail systems that you can hike. Almost every county in the country has its own collection of trails, so you don’t have to run long before. The worst month to try and travel this route is May, because this is the wettest month of the year. On the other hand, January is the driest month.
